Joey's birthday party was okay. I felt out of place since i didn't know anyone there. On top of that, I didn't really fit in with the groups. I was 20 years older than the kids, and 20 years younger than the adults. So after I took Joey's dirt bike out of my closet, I went back to my room and stayed there. The party started at 2pm, and the last guests left after 5pm. Joey really raked in the money yesterday, having nearly $200 now. After that, there was a thunderstorm. It was strong enough to knock out the Internet for the night, and even make the satellite signal on the TV go out as well. In the end, I just turned everything off. After all, I wouldn't want a lightning bolt to hit the house and burn up anything.
I got Mom's phone refilled with service days. She called me a few minutes ago. I was worried she wouldn't be able to get the message I sent her saying to turn her phone off and then on. But it seems that everything is fine on that end. But now I just have to worry about Mom's current whereabouts. The last message she sent me said that she isn't staying where she had been. And when I asked her where she is staying now, she said that she wasn't sure. I guess I will find out more when she decides to tell me.
I am getting closer to reaching the end of Branch C in Drakengard 3. Branch C is probably going to be the most emotional of the endings so far. Mikhail is my favorite character, and seeing him in his current predicament just hurts my heart. I still don't care for all the sexual innuendo, so I just tune it out. If I focus on slaying all of the soldiers, then I don't hear all of the times a certain character talks about his penis because of all the screams. Trophy-wise, I have 30 of the 47 trophies in the base game. I am about to earn another 4. You get a trophy if you get every weapon in each of the four weapon classes. And then another trophy for upgrading each weapon to Level 4. Then there's also the trophy for completing Branch C. I am going to try and do that today.
Yesterday at the party, one of the kids was "teaching" me about Pokémon. I received a lesson in type advantages and Pokémon in general. In my head, I was all, "Boy, I have been training Pokémon since Kanto. When I began training, you weren't even old enough to hold a Pokéball." He was boasting and bragging about his Level 100 Samurott. So, I felt it my duty to put him down a notch, by way of challenging him to a battle. So the next time he comes over, we will battle. Now, I just need to start a save file of Pokémon White and train some Pokémon.
Today's plan is to play video games and help out with whatever it is that needs done. I think all that I will have to do is make sure Joey doesn't kill himself. And since he is confined to the inside of the house today because of the rain, it shouldn't be that hard. So, I guess that's it. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
Michael
