Today started off okay, then became worse, then it went back to okay. I left the house at 3am. It felt really nice outside when I fed the animals, so I figured I'd take advantage of the warmth and get as much done before it became cold. Then the papers weren't in the shed when I arrived. I got out my PSP and played Duodecim while I waited. And since I hadn't been to sleep since the afternoon before, I was getting so tired. Also, the temperature was dropping. So I closed one of the shed doors and made myself a somewhat comfy spot on the floor of the shed. As soon as I get settled, the papers arrived. But not only was I finally comfortable, I was about fight Kuja with Lightning. I quick-saved, and began working.
The route went well today. The only bad things to happen occurred when I was nearly finished. First, I was about to sneeze when a bug flew in my mouth. I felt it hit the back of my throat, and if I hadn't been going down a hill at the time I would have stopped the bike. But it was too dangerous to do that, so I tried to cough it out. That...didn't work. I ended up swallowing the bug. I instantly felt sick. I began gagging, but all I could do was dry heave. It was not a fun time. In the end, I gave up and faced the fact that I will be digesting a bug. Not the best breakfast I have had, that's for sure.
Then as I was delivering the business route papers, the strap on my backpack broke. Papers were all over the sidewalk. I put them all back in the backpack, and carried it in my arm. And the awkward angle my arm was in was making my wrist hurt. I mentioned in my old journal about my injury playing volleyball, and it was this that was acting up. But I finished that south side businesses, and then left the backpack at the office. I then strapped the papers to the rack, and delivered to the north side businesses.
It was 8:08am when I got back to the office. And no one showed up at the office until 9am. When the owner came, I looked for my check, but it wasn't out for me to get. So I had to wait some more. I was so tired at this point. I was losing focus in the game, so I stopped playing. Then I sat on the porch and dangled my legs over the side. I kept them moving to keep myself awake. Finally Iris showed up.
We chatted about everything over the last week. I downloaded some programs on her computer that I had here at the house. After that, chatted some more until I had to go home. I asked about when I would be getting paid for the articles I wrote, and she said to email her about it. She then said she would be paying me for fixing the office computers last week. And when I said I would be using some of this week's check to buy a wireless mouse for my computer, she gave me one that the office had but wasn't using. I guess it's okay, since she's the boss.
At Grandma's we talked about everything since the last time we saw each other. I was nodding off when Dad showed up. Since he was heading to the house, he offered to take me home. Then when I got home, I checked the fire and fell asleep on the couch. That was at noon. I didn't wake up until 6pm when my brother came in and checked the fire. And since then, I have been up. Now I am typing this for you to read.
Tomorrow, I am delivering in Sinking Spring. After that, I was thinking of starting a save file of Final Fantasy IX. The wallpaper on my computer is of Lindblum, and whenever I see it I want to play the game. If I had the chance to live in a video game city, I would choose Lindblum. Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
