The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

Less than two hours until it begins!

I am kind of excited to finally begin the challenge. There has been a little bit of a setback. My video capture equipment isn't wanting to work on my computer. I tried to get it up and running today, but it doesn't work. I am not surprised. It is a really old model and didn't work correctly even on my other computers. Oh well. I will just find a different way to go about that little obstacle.

Apart from that, everything is ready to go! My copy of Sonic Unleashed works in both PS2s, and I have working controllers and empty memory cards. The televisions in my room are in working order, even though I have to smack the big one a couple times in order to get the whole screen to show up (rather than the pencil-thin line it shows at startup.

The plan for the blog is to give an update once each day. But if I were to finish a game in the middle of the day, then I will make multiple updates. I will try to provide video or photos to go along with the text, but I am not sure how that will work out since all I have right now are really old televisions.

But I am sure that no matter how it happens, it will turn out better than I expect. To be honest, I have the feeling that I will only finish 10-15 games in the next six months. So if I am able to do more than that, I will be really glad.

Anyway...

Last night I slept really well. I didn't wake up as much, with the only time I did wake up was because I felt some furry animal (Omega) brushing up against me. The cats adjusted to the new arrangements quite well. They each found new spots to call their own. Omega still sleeps by my feet, Itsy Bitsy takes command of my desk chair, and U sleeps by my bicycle.

I played around on Oblivion today. Just random quests and whatnot. While I was playing, my brother used the computer. He hasn't used my computer in months. Since he has one of those fancy phones, he no longer feels a need for the computer. But today he was having trouble getting on Facebook, so he logged on.

Well, the plan for tomorrow is to play and play and play. I am thinking I may take a quick nap after posting this and writing up the post for the gaming blog and start playing right at midnight. I don't have to work until Tuesday, so I have a whole day still to do whatever.

And with that, I have run out of things to talk about for now. It was a quiet and peaceful Sunday, and that's how it should be. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael
