The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

Number 1

Dad and floozy got into a wreck last week. I guess Dad was taking a vehicle back to its owner, and floozy was going along in her SUV to take Dad back home. On their way back, they mysteriously rolled it off the road. I was told that Dad was seen in the ambulance and floozy was in the back of the police cruiser. Oh karma, I do love it when bad things happen to bad people. Unfortunately, no one died. And now I have been told that the two are fighting because now floozy doesn't have anything to drive, and Dad won't let her drive the truck. Yes, the same truck that he was allegedly trying to sell.

Number 2

I am now a great-grandfather. Kind of. I found out yesterday that Stri-P-Grr is a mommy now. She has one little kitten. She's a furry ball of black fluff. It is already very big. And now that Itsy Bitsy is hanging around, all three generations of my cats are here. I don't know who the father of the fur ball could be, because I haven't seen any other cats here. Str-P-Grr's father (U) was a black and white cat, and her biological great-grandmother (Moonbeam) was a black cat. So, I guess it's quite possible that the black fur comes from Stri-P-Grr. I told Mom and she said that she was happy.

Now that I have that out of the way...

My eighth opponent has been chosen. I am going up against TheLastSurvivorD. My opponent hasn't been performing too well, currently in 9th Place. Though that may have changed, I will know when the Match 7 results are released. I am not really concerned with it. I am pretty sure I won Match 7, which means the worst I can finish is 6th Place. In the old system, that would mean I stay in the Bronze League. My plans for Match 8 are to focus on Bayonetta and Sleeping Dogs. If I can do well in either of those games, I should come out with a lot of points.

I painted the cabinets downstairs yesterday. It was a nice escape from having a Joey-sized shadow around me. He tried to come down and bother me, but I sent him back upstairs. He was wearing his new school clothes, and I told him to stay away because he might get paint on them. I am going to put another coat of paint on the cabinets today.
