The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

It has been a few days since my last entry. I have been spending my time playing the PS3 offline. I still can't seem to log in to PSN until after 11pm each night. It makes the competition weird for me because I have gotten so used to updating so often, and now I can't do that. The seventh match ends this evening. As of right now, I have the lead with a score of 16-7. But there's always the chance that freddie1989 has earned more trophies since his last one and just hasn't updated since then. Anyway, here's the current standings up to Match 6.

All I know right now is that I cannot finish in 10th Place. And depending on how things go in this match, I may escape being demoted to the Manganese League. If Havoc273 wins his match, he will be the winner of the Bronze League. No one will be able to pass him.

But wait, there has been another twist implemented. It turns out that promotions and demotions won't be given out as they have been in previous seasons. I guess all 50 of us are going to be ranked together, instead of just within our separate Leagues. Then, next season's groupings will have everyone mixed up. I was kind of hoping to move up the ranks, and be promoted from League to League. You know, take it slow. But now there's a chance I might be in a League that I don't want to be in yet.

Well...

I bought some more games recently. Four, to be exact. Joey was going on and on about how he's SO good at video games. It is not true, of course, so I figured I'd show him up some and knock him down a peg or ten. I bought my own copy of Super Mario 3D Land. He whined, saying how he hates it whenever someone has something that he has. You know, classic spoiled brat syndrome. So buying the game for myself made me even happier, because now it will teach him that it's okay for other people to have something, and that he won't die if he sees someone with the same toy. Anyway, it and my copy of Sleeping Dogs arrived yesterday. I immediately start playing 3D Land. I wanted to get to a point that was farther than he was. I have only had the game for a day, and I am already in the middle of World 6. And Joey starts spouting off lie after lie. One minute he says that he's farther than me, and then the next I am ahead of him, and then he's ahead of me. The truth is, I have been ahead of him in the game since one hour after I started playing. He's only on World 2-1.

Other than that, everything is the same as ever. It rained on Thursday during my route. I got home before Carma and Joey did. And mowing on Friday went well also. And then Joey stayed here with me on Friday night. I wasn't able to finish mowing on Wednesday like I wanted. I ran out of gas in the mower. Carma was supposed to get more gas on Thursday, but it's now Saturday and still no gas. I haven't gotten a call to help Larry yet, so I am going to paint the cabinets downstairs. After that, I don't know what I will do. There's about ten hours before the match ends, so I might try and earn some last-minute points. Or if I get the call to come help, I will do that. I will try to go while Joey is busy with something. That way he isn't in the way.
