My gaming blog is going really well. It reached eleven hundred views a couple days ago. The recent surge in my European audience has really made it a hit. At least I think so, because I don't know where to look for a comparison on similar blogs. Recently, France and the Netherlands have been sending lots of views my way. Anyway, today's entry will hopefully have something other than a Skyrim story. I don't want it be stale.

Today was a another nice day. I didn't sleep much last night. Quests in Skyrim were making it so I didn't want to sleep. I even considered not sleeping because I wanted to complete more and more quests. In the end, I found a place to stop and managed to get in four hours of sleep.

During the day, I spent a lot of time watching Hikaru No Go. It started out as a boring anime centered on Go the game, but it has really developed the characters well and brought more of the character's stories into that Go has become a secondary topic. I am a little worried that it will end badly. After all, the ghost has to move on eventually. That's just what ghosts do. And if "The Hand of God" is required for that to happen, I don't think it will be obtained before the final episode. After all, Hikaru is only 13, and it takes decades to become good enough at the game in order to achieve it.

The show has given me a newly found respect for the game. I am still certain I will suck at it if I play it, but I think I can take some of what I see in the show with me if I were to play. I have a video game version of it, so I may try it sometime.

My brother has started to use the house phone a lot more now that his cell phone is broken. I am glad that it's being used, but it is really annoying when I am woken up by all the phone calls that come in for him. I think tomorrow morning I will ask if he will get the phone connected to another room.

I managed to move the Top 40 leader board in the monthly Osu! competition. Instead of 39th Place, I am now in 34th. I really had to work to raise my score. I earned only about 400,000 points; but it was extremely difficult. It's weird though. There is one person ranked lower than me, but s/he has SS ranked 8 of the 12 songs. In order to get a SS rank, you have to get 100% accuracy in a song. The scoring system must have a flaw somewhere; because even if you score 900,000 points per song, the person would still have more than 7,200,000 points total. But this person has less than me, and I don't even have 6 million points.

Oh well. That's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael
