The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

I started a playthrough of Final Fantasy VIII today. I didn't get very far. I ran out of time in the Fire Cavern and received a Game Over as a result of my overconfidence. If I had only chosen to not draw magic from the minor enemies along the way, I would have had enough time to defeat Ifrit. Especially since I have to walk through the cavern to get back out. By the way, is there any incentive for completing it in ten minutes. This was the first time I have ever attempted it, so I have no idea. Normally, I walk casually through on 40 minutes.

Anyway, I am going to try and speed through the game. I know the story, so there isn't really a reason for me to go through it. I just want to mark it off the list after all.

I also made another jump up the leaderboard in Osu! today. Thanks to a friend playing with me today, I was able to win and advance to #759 in the country. I am almost where I need to be in order to get on the worldwide leaderboard. A few more great play sessions, and I will be there.

Anyway...

The day today was very nice and peaceful. My brother stayed in most of the day and watched movies. He seems much better today. And the kittens were playing with U a lot today. He would sometimes play a little too rough with them, and I would remind him that he is about five times bigger than they are. If you point at him, he will act like it's the worst thing in the world. He's crazy, but that's okay. I don't know what I'd do if I had a normal pet.
