No New Job Yet

But I think I will get it. The interview went really well. As I expected, it was emphasized that I was over qualified for a simple cashier's position, but they said advancement would be quick for me. Especially with my background in ad design. They especially liked my resumé, and how I designed it. Thank you fancy printer and card stock paper.
I did a bit of cramming today in preparation for the interview. I had no idea how it would be, so I watched videos on how to bag groceries and even watched the low-budget video they made online on how to set up displays for items. After all, there could have been a skill test or something.
Looking back, my answers to some of their questions seemed a bit too fancy for the job I applied for. And I did become flustered at one point. I had to stop mid sentence and take a breath because my mouth was running away with itself. I believe I answered their questions to the best of my ability. I also did get a little choked up when I was asked "What is the one thing you will miss the most about working at the Messenger?"
But, I hope I get a job. I most likely will. But probably not because of my ability or potential. It turns out that several of my family members have some pull there. I only found this out back at Grandma's after the interview was done and over with. Grandma even said, "All else, your uncle will talk to some people and get you a job there." Grandma thinks this is also why I received an interview so quickly. If that's so, then why did I even need to apply? If our family has so much pull, then why didn't I get the chance to drop some names or something and be handed a job?
Oh well. All I can do is wait.
Well, that's all I have for this blog today. Make sure to check my gaming blog for everything I did today gaming wise, and it was quite a bit today. Tomorrow I have the whole day to play. Whether I will or not, I don't know. I'd like to think I will, but then the question becomes what game should I play. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
