The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

I must have been more tired than I thought.

I went to take a nap at 9:30pm, thinking I'd sleep a couple hours and wake up in time to update my blogs. Then eight hours later, I wake up and see some really tall person wearing a striped shirt standing over me. Fortunately, it wasn't a real person, but rather the shadow of something on the wall by the window. The striped shirt was the striped blanket I put over my window to not let in any light from outside. I let out a gasp when I opened my eyes and saw it.

This isn't the first time I have seen this though. I am of course talking about a short time ago when I the same lights were casting a shadow that looked like Slender Man. Since that first encounter, I have also seen Yoda, Dracula, and a shadow of what looked like the boss from Wonderland in Kingdom Hearts.

I must have a more vivid imagination lately, to be seeing such things.

While I was talking about Iris this morning after finishing my route, we heard this loud bang as if a gunshot rang out. Though we live out in the middle of nowhere and sounds like this are normal (whether it be a gunshot, or meth lab explosion, or some other loud noise), this sounded really close. So, we went out to investigate. It turned out that my rear bike tire exploded. It was completely flat with a lot of rips of tears in the actual tire. I had to call Grandma and have Dad come pick me up. I am just glad it happened after my route was finished. I wouldn't have wanted to be out on the bike and have it explode.

I will be getting paid for my articles at the end of the month. Rather than just a little extra each week, Iris thought it best to just lump it all together at one time. I am fine with that. Also, she will ask the owner about having me as her assistant. Since I know the ins and outs of the business, I could help out whenever I'm needed. Iris said that if I liked selling ads, I could work as a sales person but also be her assistant. But I wouldn't sell enough adspace to keep me around.

Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael
