I learned something.

Today, it rained. A lot. A lot a lot. And as usual, only when I was needing to go somewhere. I had to leave an hour later than usual because it was raining so hard that I didn't feel safe leaving at my normal 5am. I am glad I decided to wait for the rain to calm before leaving because Eat Your Kimchi's latest live chat was this morning, and I got to watch it.
On my way to the office, I looked down at my legs and saw this white foamy substance on my shorts. It looked like soap. After a few more miles of pedaling, my legs felt like they were really soapy, like how my neck and back feel when I am washing my hair. I pulled out the shorts some and lo and behold my leg is really soapy. I learned that I either put too much laundry detergent in the machine when I wash clothes, that the washer doesn't rinse all of the detergent out of my clothes, or that I am actually made of soap.
Delivering today was awful. I went through my entire stash of wetness preventing newspaper accessories today. By that I mean I used all of my newspaper bags and rubber bands. I am going to ask if we could order more. I would love to start using bags again. They come in lots of colors, and colored bags are much more noticeable for readers. They will be more inclined to pick up and read our paper if we have colored bags protecting them from the weather. Of course, since I am the only person who delivers to houses, it is probably not going to happen. Maybe when we get our rural/driving routes back up and running again. I'll still ask though.
Before I left town today, I bought a cheeseburger and a soda at the store. I had lunch on my bike today. I just felt so happy doing that for some reason. Pedaling and eating the burger put the biggest smile on my face. Not to mention that it was a great tasting burger.
I helped Grandma put in stakes and stuff to scare the animals away from her garden today. She bought some Irish Spring soap to deter animals with the scent. And we put up pie pans and a scarecrow to help deter them visually. I told Grandma that if it keeps raining like this, all that will happen is that the vegetables will be washed in the soap.
After I got home, I took a nap. It wasn't much of one, only 30 minutes. After that, I started playing The Adventure of Link. Thanks to a Skype voicechat with FFMQFanSince92, I was able to get farther in the game than I have ever gotten before when I would play. He is full of information about The Legend of Zelda series. I am grateful for all of the help.
I am also going to be playing a Pokemon game, at Kurt Zisa's suggestion. I will be playing FireRed. And also, I will be recording some bad quality videos of all of it! Yay for lackluster video quality with mediocre gameplay commentary! And to top it all off I am going to...
wait...
no, I am not going to tell you.
I will show you when I make the first video.
Moving on...
I received The Sims 3 today in the mail. I checked to make sure it works, and it does. I haven't made a Sim yet. I did check around the songs. I have no clue who any of those people singing are. Cody Simpson (is that his name), 3OH!3 (did I type that correctly), and a whole bunch of other people I haven't ever heard of. I feel so out of it, with my K-Pop and Taiwanese bands, and anime songs. I need to find a nice sounding english-singing perfomer/group to make me think I am still with the english-singing genre of music (if english-singing is in fact a genre now).

There was one thing other than the tremendous amount of rain that upset me today. Grandma gave me the receipt for the house payment I paid today while I was there. The upsetting, aggravating part was that my Uncle put Dad's name on the receipt. Not mine. I was the one who made the payment. Not him. How am I to include this as my annual taxes if my name isn't even on it!! Grandma said that it was a simple mistake, and that the next one will have my name on it. It better, because it looks like Dad made the payment. And unless my name isn't on the receipts, I can't prove that it was me who paid it. How am I to take the house out from under Dad's lazy, idiotic, jerkface of a nose if I have no way to prove it? I just have to think oh well and that it will be fixed next time. Grandma even said that if I am the one making the payments then the house should be in my name when it all gets signed over. After all, Dad doesn't live here. His stuff may be here, but he isn't.
Well, tomorrow is Saturday. And normally I would spend the day playing video games. But I will instead be riding to Sinking Spring to deliver newspapers. After that, I will be home playing video games. And with that, I have run out of things to talk about. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
