The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

As I am typing this, U is asleep on his back right now. His hind legs are stretched out completely, and look as if they're human. His front legs are up near his chest, similar to a pose like that of a corpse in a coffin. And his fangs are showing. So, my cat is a vampire. That's how he can sleep so weirdly. It has to be. One night I will wake up to him biting my neck, and then I will join the undead masses. And with U at my side, the two of us will stalk the shadows and feed only when necessary (because of my weak stomach for blood).

Today Mom babysat for my brother's girlfriend's kid. She was here from 9am until 5pm. Mom enjoyed it because she had something to do. I was dragged into the situation because kids are drawn to me. I can't help it. They find me fascinating. I find them gross and annoying. But it can't be helped. I just wash my hands more when I am near one.

And because of our little guest, I didn't play any video games. I didn't want to risk poisoning her mind. It's different than when Joey's here, because he focuses only on the cars we drive. I can easily mute voices or music with him. But with Macy (that's her name), I have no control over what a wandering toddler sees or hears. I can't shut my door, because she cries. So I just didn't play anything.

There is some drama going on as well tonight. My Dad was spreading rumors, and when it got back to the person being talked about, everything hit the fan. Dad denied it, of course. However, I heard what he said, so he can't lie his way out of it. But my brother seems to not care about anything in terms of truth. He hasn't even said hello to Mom. Most likely, Dad lied to him, and my brother bought it. I will tell him what's going on when he comes home, if he comes home. He has been here for maybe five minutes.

Some news on Thief to report. My copy of the game has been put on hold. The reason: The Bank Heist is not available. This is not true, but it is the reason I was given by the people of Digital River, who distribute Square Enix products from their online store. You see, I received a reply from Square Enix this morning, stating that it was the Digital River people who were in control of that stuff. Their website was down today, so I called them. The person I spoke with said that it would be another 2-3 days before I will learn more about the whys and hows and wheres of this order.

Other than that, not much is going on. I mean, the biggest event to happen today was my discovery of U's vampiric nature. And all it does is make me think about playing Oblivion and/or Skyrim. Anyway, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
