The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

If leaving my keys at work yesterday wasn't enough, I left my phone in Dad's truck today. I am having the worst case of not remembering to take things with me-itis ever. Dad took me to Sinking Spring to deliver, because I was locked out of the garage and had no way to get my bike out. While I was there, I bought cat food. So, now the kitties won't be pigging out on ham from my freezer.

I started playing Tomb Raider today. I find it to be an okay game. I have never finished it, so I don't have too high or too low of an opinion of it. I usually get bored with the game and just stop playing. Like right now, I am thinking of going to play something else. Maybe even a Final Fantasy game.

I am really starting to like playing osu! standard. I think the six months I've spent playing osu!mania has gotten me into the "groove" of circle clicking. I mean, I was totally against standard mode, because my mouse hand wasn't fast enough to track the map. Now, I am getting Full Combos and S-ranks on songs.

My main thing to work on now is consistency. The scores I provided are the highest scores I have gotten with those songs. And unfortunately, I haven't received those scores enough to be confident that they will hold up in a tournament. The one other contestant in my League usually beats me when we train together. I think it's because I am not consistent with my scores. When we play together, I will check out the stats at the end. And I always seem to drop the combo. With a game like this, the combo bonus increases with how big the combo is. If I drop the combo even once, it pretty much guarantees that I will lose. That's how close our skill levels are. We were talking the other day, and osu! is the only game he plays. He doesn't play console games at all. So, it's really a surprise that he isn't much higher on the leader board.
