The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

I went to work at the office this morning. We had about an inch (maybe more) of snow on the ground. And despite constant updates of the weather, the heat throughout the office was turned off. I had my scarf over my face most of the time I was working. And I'm not talking about one of the fancy little scarves that are used for decoration. I use a giant wooly one from xdye.

But no matter how I tried, I could not get warm. I had a space heater inches from me, along with the heat going on full. The office was just too cold for there to be much of an impact. I managed to work, but it is difficult to type and design ads when my fingers were so cold.

I wish there had been someone else working while I was there. That way the extra body could help warm the office. I did eat a hot lunch, but even that didn't keep me warm. When I left, I made sure that the heat was on. With the weather continuing to be cold, we can't have the pipes going bad. I just don't know what got into whoever worked yesterday to make them decide to turn the heat off.

I spent the majority of my home time in bed. I still wasn't warm enough to satisfy, but I was warmer at home than at work.

I got my check cashed today. My wallet and myself feel happier that I have money again. I had to let Dad borrow some money to get gas, so until today I was brokedy-broke.

I am at the current season of The Big Bang Theory in my marathon of watching the show. I should be caught up by Monday.

Well, that's about it for tonight. I am starting to get cold again, so I think I will get back under the covers. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
