The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

Yesterday's main game that I played was Pokémon X. I have earned one badge now, and have reached the point in the game where you get to choose which of the three original starter Pokémon that you want. Of course I chose Squirtle. As a Water-type trainer, it only made sense. Here's what I have caught so far, and an asterisk beside their name means they are in my current party. Any other notes will be in parenthesis.

I also have a Chimchar given to me through a Wonder Trade. The other person probably feels gypped, because I received a Level 1 Chimchar for my Level 10 Beedrill. After looking it up, the person named Chimchar Hikozaru or ヒコザル. Oh, wait. Nevermind. That is just the Japanese name for Chimchar. At least, I assume that is it. There are several images of Chimchar listed in the image section of Google when I search it. Anyway, it looks like I was given one of those perfect Pokémon in terms of stats. But I can't be sure. After all, I have no idea about that kind of stuff. Nor do I care to. I play the games for the stories. If it so happens that I luck out and catch one that is better than others of it species stat-wise, then all the better.

I also earned a couple of the rarer trophies in Grand Theft Auto IV yesterday. First was Sightseer, which has been earned by only 10.18%* of players. Then I went and earned Finish Him, which is even rarer at 9.67%*. and finally I earned One Man Army with a 20.68%* rarity. I am trying to get the trophies I am still lacking in the main game. Of course, it looks like I won't be able to get all of the trophies. After the servers switched, every onlinie player went back to Rank 0. I doubt I will ever get to Rank 10 and receive the Wanted trophy. Anyway, I will just try and get the other ones, or set myself up for earning them when the trophy hunting competition starts next month.

Instead of painting or mowing, we cleaned out two room of the top floor of the house yesterday. Carma brought a dump truck over to the emergency exit door, and we just started throwing stuff out of it into the truck. There is still one more room to do, but I think we'll be holding off on that for now. At least we can see the floor upstairs now. The painting will not be done by us now, and that is great news. I don't want to paint. And as for the mowing. I think we are doing that later today. As soon as the grass dries, I think I will be on the mower. I am still hurting from walking up and down those stairs yesterday.
