I don't want it to stop.

Okay, so for the past few days I haven't been putting tags in my gaming blog entries. This is because I find it really, really annoying to tag things. I mean, I tag the articles I write for EnixOrigin, and my YouTube videos, and I tag a lot of other things. I don't tag this blog, but that's because I never really saw a point to it. My friends are going to read this blog whether it's tagged or not. That's just how it is. You all come to read what I do each day, and I don't think I have ever tagged any of these 399 entries.
Anyway, tags are needed to help promote stuff though, and I totally understand that. But yesterday's gaming blog entry showed me that even if I don't tag every entry, I have built an audience (or readership) that will still come back and read the entries. As I was checking the stats of the recent entries, I see there's a recent spike in view count. Zooming in, I see that yesterday's entry had more than 100 views. Do you remember that entry I made here on November 13, 2013 titled It's over 4000!? Well, since that time, the gaming blog has gotten more than 1,100 views. The current count is 5,127. The month of November had almost 500 more views than my previous record month (October). And since I added the auto-translate app, my international audience has skyrocketed. Particularly in France and Malaysia.
What was the point I was trying to make? I went into stat-man mode and nearly forgot the point. Oh, the point is that I don't want this to be the sixth month of The 6-Month Gaming Challenge. I want some magical spell to add months to the calendar so the New Year doesn't arrive in 30 days. I know I could always go and put in the last entry that I am extending the challenge because I failed it, or just make a new blog; but I also know that when it becomes 2014 I will be accepting that it ended and that it was so much fun to do. I got to reach people from places all over the world, and that's probably the best part.
And that's about everything I have to talk about today. Today was just a normal Sunday. I was for about two hours after leaving the Skype chat just practicing for the tournament. And then I was tired throughout most of the day today, even taking a nap during the afternoon.
I was asked to watch a Japanese film called Battle Royale recently, and I finally sat down and watched it today. Despite there being a whole lot of death in it, I did enjoy watching it. I do understand why it was banned here in America at one point. I don't know if it still is or not because I watched it and I don't have federal agents at my door taking my computer away. Anyway, I really think a lot of you will like it, I recommend that you watch it. There is also a sequel to it, but I haven't seen it yet. I will let you know what I think when I do.
I am really pleased with how the Awards event is turning out. Despite the little scuffle there have been quite a few nomination posts. Continue to post your nominations, because it shows your support for the forum's members, and it gives me something to do when I tally up the nominations. I am still working on the award banners, and they should be finished within the week. I really hope that whoever gets to wear them in their signature likes how they turn out.
Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
Michael
