The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

Okay, so I have been a member here for two years, as of two weeks ago. I meant to talk about the same stuff I did last year: how i have grown as a person, both as a member here and in real life; where I hope to be when it has become three years; etc. But I kept forgetting. I would start an entry thinking that I will mention it, and then I go off on some tangent about why I really like a song from some horror movie or why I sleep with two stuffed animals in my bed.

But honestly, that's is who I am now. I never thought I would be where I am now. I have grown as a person, opened up my life to a bunch of people I will most likely never meet, and had a blast the entire time. Actually, most of the time. There was that episode that ended in the loss of a friend, but we don't mention that anymore. That time was probably not as enjoyable as the rest of the year.

I joined this forum because I needed help completing Final Fantasy XII. It is not news to anyone that I still haven't completed it. I have had the game for six years, and I still can't finish it. Oh well. I am not making any effort to finish it. I will complete it eventually. I guess I could make it a goal to accomplish before my third birthday here. But I won't because the chance of that happening is really low. If I make it a goal, then it will feel like a chore; and I do enough chores as it is. Chores aren't fun.

So, happy late anniversary. Expect my cotton-themed TFF video on YouTube soon. Which is another thing I won't promise to make, because it will probably not be fulfilled. Besides, my Paper-themed video has only gotten 34 views in the last year. How am I to afford cotton with no one watching my video on paper. Oh wait, I have an idea. It just popped into my head. It will be made within the month. Maybe this weekend, because I don't have anything planned.

The second thing I want to talk about is the loss of the Flock of Noobies Social Group. I deleted the group a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, membership had declined within the last few months. I think there were only like 25 or so active members left. With new membership to the site being 20 in the last month (I am being generous with that amount), and only 5 (again, rounding up) actually sticking around long enough to see my invitation; the Flock was doomed to crash eventually.

There is a group concept in the works right now. Flock of Noobies took a few weeks of planning before I made it, so it could be quite a while for this one with work as it is. It will be like a revamp of FoN, but hopefully a more involved version. Like FoN 2.0 or something.

Anyway, there were some things that happened today. One thing that I am frustrated with. But it is nearly 10:30pm, and I have work in the morning. I will try and post about today's events along with what happens tomorrow in the next entry.
