Well, I am at the final verse in Drakengard 3. But, it is the most difficult verse ever. I don't want to give away too many details, but basically, Mikhail has to fly around for eight minutes while all of the Intoners attack him using a song. Every time an attack comes, he has to shield himself. The problem is that the camera moves around and makes it difficult to see when the Intoners attack is in range. If I miss, then I have to start it over from the very beginning. My best result has been when One comes forward. If I had to guess, it is probably three minutes in the song. I don't keep track of time. I read that people tend to sync the game with a video, but I can't do that. My Internet is too slow to do that, and I can't download the video to try it either. Eventually, I will finish it.

In other Drakengard 3 status news, I need 1,567,400 gold in order to upgrade my weapons by one level. It will take a lot of side quests in order to do that. Especially since each of the remaining weapons are all Level 1. There are four levels per weapon. And then I also went and purchased the DLC chapters for the sisters. I haven't downloaded any of them yet, because PSN was undergoing maintenance at the time. I am checking again as I type this, but I am not sure the download speed will be fast enough to install them on the PS3. Well, it says "This service is currently undergoing maintenance." So I will just have to wait.

My copies of Murdered: Soul Suspect and Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy arrived in the mail yesterday. I haven't tried playing them yet. I tried to get Joey to let me borrow his 3DS to try the latter, but he said that the battery was dead. And I want to wait until after I finish Drakengard 3 before I play Murdered: Soul Suspect. I am just so close to finishing Drakengard 3!

I just checked the tracking information on the 3DS and Kingdom Hearts 3D. The 3DS has left the post office in town and is on its way here! I am so happy! There hasn't been an update on Kingdom Hearts 3D for a few days. And as for Pokémon X, I haven't gotten an update on it since the seller left the positive feedback. For all I know, the seller didn't get tracking for it, and it could be on its way as well.

Yesterday afternoon I was trying to work, but I was being constantly bothered by Joey. He wouldn't leave me alone. When I would shut my door to try and separate us, and give me some quiet time to myself, he tried to break the door down by running into it. When I told him to stop, he said he hated me. And he never did help clean up the playroom downstairs. Before she left for work yesterday evening, Carma said she will be coming home later today, because she is going shopping and getting her nails done today. Joey was still napping when she left, and I had to deal with his crying and whining when he woke up. That was fun.

Well, the plan today is to try and finish Drakengard 3. Then when she wakes up after she comes home, Carma and I are going to pull up the carpet in the entry room. She is also wanting to remove the carpet in the living room as well, but it will be a project for another weekend. I also need to repair my bike tire. I am inclined to just wait until I can get to Ace Hardware and buy another rubber wheel. I do still have the black bike, and I could always just put the headlight and taillight on it for the time being. That would be easier than taking the rear tires off and exchanging them. Then when I get a new rubber wheel, I can just change it then.

Well, that's about it for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael

Yeah I've read about the rhythm game in Drakengard 3. People doing it the no video way have said they've tried for hours and days without success. It's pretty rough. And it's only made even worse by the fact that near the end of the eight minutes the screen goes black and you only have the audio to clue you in. If and when I decide to try for the last two endings, just for the sake of time. I'll give the rhythm the old college try once or twice, just to see how I fair and then I'll do the video sync. At that point, I just want the story. Completing a rhythm game without any UI clues is pretty mean, especially with no mistakes and 8 minutes long.
