How much would it cost...

To soundproof my room so I don't hear what goes on in the rest of the house? Since it seems that no matter how I try, my brother is going to continue making his nightly noises. His lack of consideration to the rest of the household (even if it's just me) is getting on my last nerve. What life lesson was he not paying attention to while he was growing up? I know that he was taught how to behave. I was there when it was taught.
My day was really great up until the point when my brother and Amy walked in the house. It seems that he doesn't care that some people have to work the next day. Just because he doesn't have any actual job to do doesn't mean that we all don't have jobs to do.
But I have to think of it this way. I only have to deal with this for six more months. In six months, Mom will be back. I am certain that she won't have any of that going on.
Up next...
Work today was great! I worked on the newspaper the entire time I was at the office. I am still not finished, but that's what tomorrow is for anyway. I don't much to do. I have to finish four or five ads, and then change the fonts for the ads the owner is sending through the Email. After that, put in the summer safety information, and the paper is finished.
I kept the sales staff informed on how much space is available in the paper. I didn't give specifics until the end of the day, because they are supposed to sell as much as possible up until the deadline. And then tomorrow they are to tighten up everything. It looks like it will be another 8-page paper. The staff was just not in the mood to sell, and it showed. They were able to fill the spots for the center spread. But after that, hardly any adspace was sold.
Oh well. It makes my job easier. I don't have as much to put in the paper. And then I don't have as much weight to carry on my route.
Anyway...
I played Skyrim after I got home. I ventured to Riften. I don't like that place. It just seems so dark and creepy. The only reason I went there was to report that I finished the bounty I received at Iverstead. And now I have this strong urge to kill that Maven what's-her-face because she walks around the city as if it's everyone's honor to be in her presence. I really thought about putting an arrow through her head right there in the middle of the market area. Then what would her precious "helpers" do? They would probably celebrate in the streets, like the Munchkins in the Wizard of Oz.
Tomorrow I am finishing up what I started at the office. After that, I haven't made any plans. Maybe more Skyrim. Maybe something different entirely.
That's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
Michael
