The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

I figure for this special entry, I would begin by talking about what I hope to accomplish gaming-wise for the remainder of the year. I would like to finish all of the games I have here with me. And by finish, I mean go through the story and see the ending credits. In particular, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. I would also like to finish the other Square Enix titles in my possession, but it's not as big a priority as the XIII series. As for trophies, I would love to earn the 1,721 that I am lacking. No, I didn't go through and count the ones I am missing. The website psnprofiles.com did that for me; but if I didn't use that site, I probably would have went through and counted them myself. Anyway, my goal is to have 10 Platinum trophies by the end of the year. I also want to be in the Top 100,000 on the psnprofiles.com worldwide Leaderboard. Right now, I am ranked 425,190th. The U.S. Leaderboard doesn't really concern me, because I am ranked pretty high on that one at 138,049th. The third season of League of Trophy Hunters starts July 20, 2014; and I hope to have a good showing during the competition. Not only will it be a way to add a little competition to the task of trophy hunting, but it will also give more a chance to raise my completion rate of 31.52% to a more respectable percentage.

Another gaming goal of mine, and I know I say this a lot, is to not buy any more games. I can't think of any more games that I want, until this winter. The only purchases I will make is the DLC for games. I have been thinking of subscribing to PlayStation Plus, and that is probably the biggest purchase I want to make for the remainder of the year. But no more eBay shopping, no matter how good of a deal I can find.

So, the second-half of the year has started. Mom woke me up with a text message at 7am. I guess she figured I was awake. And I kind of was. I was in the process of waking up. You know, that point when you are awake, but don't want to open your eyes. I then chatted with her, where she told me that my brother is bringing Macie to see her today, and my sister is coming over to see Mom tomorrow. Yesterday, Mom had me look at the messages on her Facebook profile. Her ex-boyfriend sent a message saying that he is going to come up to the office on Thursday morning to "talk" with me. Mom told me yesterday that she will be coming to Peebles on Wednesday night and will be there while I am working to make sure nothing happens. As much as I would like to say that I can take care of myself, I am glad that she will be there just in case.

My plans for today are to watch Joey while Carma is sleeping. She hasn't arrived yet, but Joey has. He is already playing Minecraft on his tablet, but will most likely want to play it on the PS3 when I turn it on. I can't really complain, because at least it is better than him playing Grand Theft Auto IV. I bought two new PS3 controllers, so we will finally be able to play games together, instead of taking turns. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
