A full house...

Yesterday's route was very wet. It rained on my way there, and then it rained while I was out delivering, and it rained on my way back. The only time it didn't rain was when I was in the shed getting the papers ready. I complain each time it does this, and you'd think I would get used to it; but I don't get used to it. I don't like it when the weather mocks me in this way. I was as nice as possible with vomiting when the person I don't like was there. And I also talked to Iris. Or rather, Iris came over to me and talked to me. She was wondering how I have been, since we haven't seen each other in a couple months. She said that Wade and Misty were working at the paper again, this time as carriers. She said that Misty wanted to work in the office, but there wasn't any room for her there. Honestly, I think there is another reason. I think this because never in all my years working there have there not been room for another person to sell ads. Never. The owner is the type to hire as many people to sell ads because she wants as much money as possible. And besides, Misty is the owner's daughter. There is ALWAYS a place for family members to work there. So there has to be something else.
It is also a little ironic that Wade and Misty are working here again. I mean, they come back to the same job I'm doing, and I'm applying to do the job that Wade used to do. My application is almost complete. I just have the references section to do. It is difficult, because most of my references won't help me land the job. I mean, two people I would generally use as references are involved in some big scandal with the company I am trying to get a job at. That won't put me in a good light, if I say that I know people who've allegedly done such a bad thing.
Moving on...
Carma told me today that her daughter and two kids are moving in today. I hadn't started on cleaning out the room upstairs yet, so I spent the morning doing that while the Dish Network guy was here installing the new satellite and receivers. I don't know what was wrong with the old service, but it's not really for me to ask. All I know is that I won't get to watch Arirang TV anymore. And I can't find CCTV-9 in the new program guide. I guess it's a good thing I understand Spanish, because we have CCTV-E.
They were here not too long ago. They left after the first load of stuff was dropped off. I helped out where I could. Afterward, I was talking to Mom on Skype about it. A thought came across my mind. I was thinking that I wonder what is expected of me now that there are more people here. I don't want to be a live-in babysitter for three kids. It's bad enough that the one already here doesn't do a thing I say. I can't imagine what three will be like. All I can do is stay in my room and just do what I can where I can. But I will have a problem if I am stuck watching three kids. One is deaf, and sign language is not one I have learned yet. I know some basic things, but that is it.
Well, that's about it for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
