The Final Chapter...Of The Game

I am at the beginning of Chapter 13 in Final Fantasy XIII. It isn't quite where I wanted to be when I started this entry, but it's still progress. Not a lot can be said about this game's session. The battles are tough, and the characters are trying their best to save the world.

I also played more Jetpack Joyride, and I earned a trophy! Now, all I have to do is buy every single thing in the game and I will have all the trophies. Not only that, I am at the top of my Friend's list ranking! Actually, that's not very impressive. There are only two other people on it. But I'm first of three. Overall, I am somewhere around 33,000.

And I played Prince of Persia, and earned a couple trophies in it as well. I have about half of the areas healed, and only just over 300 Light Seeds. Not much I can say about this game either. After all, you go to the places, heal the area, and then search for stupid balls of light that I can never find all of in an area.

Other than that, I put the groceries away, watched three hours of Korean television, and normal daily chores. I pondered moving my room around. There's only one problem, I can't find a place for the couch in my room. If I put it in the one place I have my bike, then my bike has no place. Just one more reason why I hate having such a big bed.

Tomorrow I am working at the office. And it is forecast to rain all day. I also am tasked with paying the bills. And that's all I have planned. After last Monday's work, I am afraid to schedule a tutoring session just in case I am asked to work late. I have a lesson planned in case there will be one anyway, but I don't know. If I am tired, then there is no point in teaching. Joey will see me tired, and it may rub off on him and make him not want to do the lesson.

A quick update with my current campaign (though I'm not actively campaigning) in King of the Web. I am holding strong in 20th Place with 131 votes. I am saving up quite a lot of bonus votes. I think I have about 360 right now. Keep voting and saving up your bonus votes. I will need them in about four weeks when I make my big attempt at campaigning.

Well, that's all for now. I am off to bed (maybe) where I will get some sleep (maybe) so I am ready for work in the morning (this one is a yes). I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

    Oh man, just wait until you get to the end of XIII. I really do love that game.

    Do you already own XIII-2? I don't recall if you'd mentioned picking that one up yet or not. I literally went directly from the ending CS of XIII into the opening of XIII-2.

    Yes, I already have XIII-2. And to go directly from one to the other is the plan. The plan is actually to finish the story of XIII-2 before May 31, 2013. That way I can enter to win a prize from Raptr. I need to get on the ball.

    Does this count if I have already beaten the game? Could I enter to win whatever prize it is? I am just curious how this works, and what the contest is exactly.

    Sorry, but no. It is called "Raptr Spring Cleaning Challenge: Tame your 2012 pile of shame". Basically, you are to complete the game and earn the specified trophy (for XIII-2, it's Epic Finisher) between April 24 and May 31. There is a whole list of games you could enter the contest with, and you can get an entry into the contest for each game you complete. And with the prize being a game that costs about $60, it's a good chance to start building up a backlog for those rainy days when there is nothing else to do.

    Cool, wish I fully knew how the site worked and how to find the right rewards I want that I can get with the games I got, mainly the PS3 ones...XD
