Evoking Pity

So Dad is now the type to lie to people to get sympathy. I don't know if it is actually lying; but when you whine to people that you can't work because you are so sick, yet you go and spend your days out on a motorcycle or go and be with your floozy instead of "getting better" or resting, it kind of raises a red flag to me in that you're lying. But what do I know. After all, I was griped at because I didn't wash the dishes while I was sick in December.
He says he has surgery on Friday. Part of me hopes that when they take his gall bladder out they put in some common sense and duty to family. Either that, or they take out his brain by mistake and I will finally be done with him.
Anyway...
I finished Prince of Persia today. I had no idea that Epilogue was DLC, though. And that it cost $9.99. So I can't try for the Platinum Trophy until I get it. I was earning trophies like crazy at the end. I had no idea that it took me less than twelve hours to finish the story. I thought I had gone way over that limit. Not only that, I also earned the trophy for not have Elika save me more than 100 times. Which is another surprise, because I was needing her to help out a whole lot. So, that's three game's stories complete so far this year. Only 100+ more to go.
Since I mentioned DLC, I am also thinking of maybe possibly getting the Skyrim DLC. Probably. You know, when I make a big effort to finishing the game. But not right now. I want to finish some more of what I have started first. I still haven't finished Catherine yet. In fact, I haven't played it since the last time I mentioned the game here in this blog. With that, and Fallout 3, Final Fantasy XIII (which I also haven't played since I mentioned it last), Portal 2, the Episodes for Grand Theft Auto IV, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion; I am pretty booked on gaming activity.
I am one step closer to earning the All the Things trophy for Jetpack Joyride as well. I earned enough coins for one more item. So yeah, literally one step closer.
And finally in gaming news, I am downloading Rumble Fighters on my computer. Raptr is offering prizes for those playing the game, and I think I could earn a prize from it. And who knows, the game might be fun. How much fun, I don't know. The game is free, so I don't expect a lot.
Moving on...
It was storming this afternoon, so Joey didn't come over for tutoring today. I printed out some worksheets for him, since he doesn't seem to have any homework to do. I am still surprised that they have homework in Kindergarten.
Tomorrow I am gaming some more. I am also going to play around on my PhotoShop program. How else am I going to get better acquainted with the program if I don't have access to the office programs. Yeah, mine isn't the exact program the office has, but it seems just as good. I still have no idea how to do much on it, but I will need to learn soon. And what better chance to learn than by entering a GFX contest. I have little chance of winning, especially after seeing some of the other entrants application samples. I only had three pieces for work on my computer here, so they look nothing like the other people's work. Anyway, it is open to anyone. I will send the link to the site for anyone interested.
Well, that's all for now. I am off to do something I haven't thought of yet. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
