I was sitting on the couch by the fire with U, and then the next time I looked at the clock it was 7am. I fell asleep and didn't get to update this last night. Oh well, I will just update it now.

My new printer ink should arrive tomorrow. That's good, because I have been asked to print things for some people. And I like to have paper copies of things to go along with the computer copies I have saved.

I advanced the story a little more in Final Fantasy XIII-2, Tomb Raider, Dissidia Final Fantasy, and Fallout: New Vegas. Only a little in each, because I am devoting a lot of my time toward training for the Osu! tournament. I sent a message to the organizer about my ranking increase, and I have gotten the okay saying I can still compete in the Beginner Tournament, despite being ranked high enough to qualify for the Advanced Tournament (which is two stages higher than the Beginner).

I was letting the cats outside this evening after dark, and I was so surprised at what I saw when I opened the door. The people across the road have some of those big inflatable Christmas decorations. In my head I'm saying, "Oh, so they're those type of people!" It's not a bad thing, it's just not something you see being done here. This neighborhood (if you can call it that) isn't the type to do stuff like that. No one here even competes to see who can mow their grass more, shorter, or whatever. If they want to stick out like a sore thumb, then who am I to stop them. They probably won't do this kind of thing next year though.

Dad stopped by today. He didn't stay long. He was here long enough to use the bathroom, and comment on how many flies there are in his bathroom. I noticed the amount when I walked through to feed Luca. If he wouldn't stink up his bathroom every time he showed up, then maybe there wouldn't be so many flies.

My brother came home yesterday with two tubs of cookie dough he bough from Joey, the kid I tutored. And then this morning he baked all of one of the tubs. I had to help him. I tried to convince them to make them smaller, but he didn't want "bite size". And so, he wasn't allowed to complain when they filled the sheet entirely and he had to cut the cookie in order to have more than one.

Well, tomorrow was supposed to be the start of me leaving for work at 5-6am. But with the weather forecast, it looks like I won't freeze if I leave at the usual 3am. As long as I finish before 6pm tomorrow, I will miss the rain completely. Speaking of working, I forgot to tell you that I am now the longest-staying employee of the Messenger. With Misty leaving, I have been there the longest by like four years.

One more tidbit about work tomorrow. I am not sure that the papers will be there when I arrive. I checked, and all that is there is the press sheet. Now, either the paper has been processed and they updated the folder, or there's something wrong and the paper wasn't sent to the press. All I know at this point is that there won't be any inserts, and that's great news. But the bad news is that I don't know if I will be waiting in the cold for the papers to show up. I am tempted to ask Iris, but it is getting late and I don't want to make her angry. All I can do is be prepared and bring lots of entertainment to keep me from being bored.

Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael
