The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

Don't you just hate it when there's bad weather in both real life and in game life...?

I've been fortunate enough to not have to work as much this week. Aside from my normal Thursday work, I worked Monday evening and Tuesday afternoon for Larry. I made a deposit into the Florida fund, paid a hefty payment to Discover, and also bought a pair of shoes. The shoes were needed, as I not only broke the last shoestring I had, but also wore holes in the bottoms of both shoes. They were Dollar General shoes, so I couldn't expect them to last forever. Anyway, I tossed them into the trash, and now I have my new ones.

I finished BioShock this week. At the suggestion of a friend, I went ahead and bought BioShock 2. I didn't get the DLC for it, because I couldn't afford it this week. I did get the BioShock Challenge Rooms, because I liked the main game so much. And as part of PSN's Flash Sale, I bought the Vita game Soul Sacrifice. A different friend suggested I play it, and it only cost $4.99.

I have been in the process of restructuring the games on my PS3 hard drive so I have the most amount of games on it. Last time, I did it alphabetically, but that left a bunch of the games I liked unable to fit on the hard drive. So this time, I started with the bigger games, and went down. I have nearly all of them on it now. The games remaining have anywhere from 9 MB to 500 MB. I also put them into folders based on ESRB Rating, so when Joey plays on his profile, he won't be sifting through all of the M games to find one he can play. I wonder if I can lock a folder so it won't be viewable on certain profiles. That would help destroy his temptation to play the M games altogether. I know I could put a lock on content based on its level, but it will take forever to do that one by one. It's not that big of a deal, considering I only let him play when I am able to watch.

I've also been putting several hours into Minecraft lately. My cousins have a PS3 now, and one of the few games they have is Minecraft. When I am online, I will play with them sometimes. But not only do I go to their world, but I have also been spending time in one of the worlds I've created as well. I'm currently spending time gathering the materials needed to convert my 3-story oak house into a stone brick house. There has been a lot of creeper activity lately, and they like to park themselves on my front porch. Then, when I leave the house, they blow up and take a corner of the house and a large section of my animal enclosure with it.

Season 8 of the Trophy Hunters League has ended the main season. I finished in 5th Place this season, and it is also the first winning season I've had since my first season way back in Season 3. From my look at the standings, I will be in Silver League for Season 9. And I will probably be back in Bronze for Season 10. That's just how it works.

Mom is back to living with my Aunt in Seaman, Ohio. She and Kevin (the boyfriend) were going to be looking for a place in Peebles; but they talked with my Aunt, and she is letting him move in as well. I am not excited about it, but I told Mom that I was glad for her.

There's not really much else to talk about right now. I just figured I would post an entry while my PS3 is busy downloading stuff. So I guess I will end for now. So, until then...

Later!

Michael
