Do I look like a babysitter?

Today was great. I spent the majority of the day catching up on the YouTube I have been skipping lately. It's weird, because normally I am up to date on everything. There has just been a lot of quality content on YouTube recently. It doesn't help that I am now subscribed to 120 channels. But quite a few haven't updated in a while, so maybe I should cut them from the list. Or maybe I am just subscribed to the wrong channels or something.

I had planned on playing Dark Cloud today, but that didn't happen. My brother brought over Joey today. Not for tutoring, though. He was just here to be looked after while his family went somewhere. And I was stuck with him. All my plans were ruined because I had a six-year-old always following me around wherever I went. I couldn't play my older audience video games, because I couldn't get him to leave me alone. Here I am trying to place some sort of boundary between us because he thinks it is time to play every time he comes over, and then he starts banging on my bedroom door because my brother won't have anything to do with him.

He looks to me as a friend now, and not as his teacher. I am going to have to do something about it.

So instead of playing what I had planned, I played a bunch of stupid racing games. It is no fun for me when I have to constantly get Joey off of the walls. I even loaded up a drag racing game so there would be no need to steer. What happens? Half a second in the race, Joey blows up his car by driving into a wall. And when he would lose, he would throw the controllers down on the floor. This really made me mad, and I told him. I said, "Listen here. If you break one of my controllers because you are having a fit, your Dad will have to buy me a new one!" When he asked how much it cost, and I replied $50, he stopped throwing them down.

I personally don't know how much a GameCube controller costs nowadays, but I purchased the one I have brand new at that price.

Eventually, I got the house back to my self. It felt nice to be able to do something without having a kid following me. I had to physically remove him from my room in order to go to the bathroom.

Moving on...

Itsy's itsies are walking around and have their eyes open now! Oh they are so CUTE!!! And Itsy even showed off one of her babies by carrying it onto the porch for me to see. It didn't stay long, because it wanted to be back with its siblings. So, it jumped off (or rolled off) into the flowers.

My Mom wrote a letter saying she got the shoes I bought her. I am glad. I told Dad about her needing shoes, and he didn't even offer to help pay. Not like he could, he doesn't work anymore. He's turned into a lazy moocher who does nothing but expect his sons to pay his bills for him. He gets calls from debt collectors every day, and letters from them every other day. All we can do is put the letters in a spot he will see them, and tell the people calling to call his cell phone. I know he has time on it, because he is shacking up with the one person he calls.

Anyway...

I am hoping tomorrow yields better results in the gaming side of my life. If I have to, I will lock myself in my room and play games on mute so no one can here me and think I am just sleeping. That way I can prevent any unwanted visitors from bothering me. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael
