I need to stop buying games that I can't play yet.

Why did I just win an eBay auction for Final Fantasy XIII-2 with Episode i? I guess that the thought of one day in the near future I will own a PS3 has me excited and wanting to plan the first major gaming session I have had in months. But I had to grab it. It is factory sealed and only cost me $19.00, it was calling out to me. "Michael, you need to buy me that way those other bidders won't get the chance to ruin me with their nasty hands." Okay, it didn't say all of that, but you get the general idea.
The point is, I am in a good place right now financially, and I finally can afford to buy things that I want. I don't need FFXIII-2, but I want it. I want to not have to watch people play video games on YouTube. I am just so happy that I can move away from buying things I need, and instead buying things I want along with things I need.
Speaking of buying things I want, I also bought a copy of Romancing SaGa. I still haven't finished even one storyline of Unlimited SaGa, but this game looks like fun. I still haven't recieved Mario Party 7 or my new messenger bag. I was really looking forward to having my new bag here for tomorrow. But all I've gotten this week in the mail is a bunch of junk mail. And a short letter from Mom saying that she is now counting down the days before she comes home.
Anyway...
I rode to work this morning. I arrived at 8:49am, and the owner was there when I arrived. We talked about the direction the business is going. She said that it was great that I come in on my own time to work and make things at the office run smoothly, and that she wished the others would do the same. I said that since we don't officially open until 10am, they probably don't want to do more work than what they are paid for. I totally forgot that the sales staff are on commission only, and she pointed that out. Then I said (like an idiot) that I don't get paid until 10am. Then she said something that nearly made me cry. She said that with how I am doing with everything I have been thrown, more days working and more pay will be coming.
Then we talked about the special projects that will be coming soon. There are two menus that are in the negotiating stages. And I started the Easter brochure today. The hard part with that right now is finding Easter decorating ideas. The ads for it haven't been difficult. Most are just signature ads (basic contact information).
I finished the paper early. Misty came in to help tighten it up. The rest were filled with some of the stuff that didn't make it into last week's paper. After that, I worked on the Easter brochure. I also took the trash to the dumpster.
It was so nice out when I rode to work. But when I went to the Post Office and to the dumpster, it was snowing so hard. I looked like a snowman, the snow was sticking to my coat. I had to shake my coat when I got back to the office because there was so much snow on it. Luckily, it will be in the 50s tomorrow. It won't be that warm when I am out on my route, but at least it will be clear and not snowy.
I am currently 27th in King of the Web - Gaming King. The chance of getting into the Top 25 has grown slimmer. So keep voting everyone! Thank you in advance!
Tomorrow I am delivering newspapers. After that, I will be home. Other than work, I have no plans. That's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until next we meet...
Later!
Michael
