Getting out of work.

This morning I made the decision not to help with the redecorating of the office. I sent a message to the owner saying that it wasn't worth the ride to and from the office for only two hours of work. Work that I wouldn't be getting paid for. I also said that because of the chance of rain, I didn't want to get caught in it. She understood, and said that it was alright if I didn't want to go and help.
So, I spent the day playing video games. The big gaming news today is that I received a copy of The Sly Collection in the mail today. I totally forgot that I bought it. Which is also why I didn't write about it here. I started Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus as soon as I opened the package, and already I am 25% complete with Trophy Collection. Earning trophies doesn't take much in this game. Just by starting the game you earn one, then you earn one for getting 1 coin. And because coins are plentiful, the trophies for 60 and 99 easy to receive as well.

I played other games as well, but I didn't progress too much in any of them. In Fallout 3 I worked on missions for Moira. I am currently working on one of the DLC in the game. The one where your character is in the simulation about taking over Alaska from Chinese control. I am glad I speak Chinese, because the general subtitles when the enemies speak go by too fast and I am paying too much attention to them shooting at me to find out what they are saying. I did catch a glimpse a couple times at the subtitles, and it is a really good translation of what is actually said. So, good on Bethesda for hiring a good translator.
Eufloria is still giving me trouble. I did manage to get four asteroids this time around. Then the enemy came and killed all of my seedlings and took control of what I had.
I also downloaded and installed Back to the Future: Episode 1 from PSN (I think that's the game's title). It was free, and I like free. The chance that I won't like the game is high; because after all, it was free. If you want quality fun, you have to pay for it.
I also worked on my file of Prince of Persia. I have unlocked the second power. Other than that, I didn't do much while playing this game.
My brother and I had cheesy breadsticks from the County Line Carry Out today for dinner. They were really good. They gave me too much pizza sauce. I had 1.5 containers left. But that's just me.
Dad is out of the hospital. He is staying with Floozy. He visited today. He said "Hi, Michael" to me. I made as if he didn't say anything at all. After all, he isn't worth my words anymore. The only words of his I will respond to are "I'm sorry". Until then, he's wasting the limited number of breaths he has left. And judging from how he was hacking and coughing, they are very limited.
And I did a bad thing today. This evening there was a call on the house phone. The machine person on the other end was cutting in and out. As usual, I hung up. I then looked up the number that called. It was the phone number that connects prisons to residences. Most likely, Mom was calling the house, and I hung up on her. I couldn't understand what the machine was saying because of the connection, and so I hung up without thinking about it. My brother said that if it was Mom, she would try again. I hope he's right. I also hope that the connection is better.
Tomorrow I am spending the day like I did today. I am thinking if I see some of my Grand Theft Auto IV friends playing, I may do some multiplayer stuff. I haven't done multiplayer since before completing Niko's story. Other than that, my gaming schedule is pretty open.
Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
Michael
