The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

The storm arrived later than forecast. Instead of the storm being over by the time I would leave for work, it didn't start until right before I left and lasted until right before I was finished working. In fact, I actually had to stop working because it was raining so much that it was difficult to see and ride the bike.

But it's normal that it would rain only while I was working. Even Jen, who now delivers papers as well as sell ads, noticed that it usually rains on Thursdays here. Oh, to be new at delivering and not know what all falls from the sky on delivery days!

For next week's newspaper, I will be making a special center spread on Summer Safety Tips. I suggested it today when Misty arrived. It will bring in $600 if all of the spots get sold. During my route I even thought up the design for it. I hope it turns out in print as it looks in my head.

As for the title of this entry, I indeed have spoiled something. I watched the ending of Final Fantasy XIII-2 a couple days ago. And I started getting teary even though I don't really understand how the story reached this conclusion. I will just have to play the game and find out.

I guess there are a lot of videos being uploaded to YouTube today. I am uploading a normal 5-minute video and it will be finished in 79 minutes. It has never taken this long to upload before. Oh well, there's only one more day of daily uploads left, so I'll manage. I think I will take a break from uploading after tomorrow. I really want to get my video capture card up and running so I can do some console gaming videos. It will add more variety to my channel, especially because I have a wider range of games to play.

I still haven't even started on my submission for the GFX tournament yet. I don't even have an idea for it. It is due tomorrow at midnight, so there's still plenty of time.

I also haven't updated my finances in a couple days. I have been meaning to be more diligent with that, because I have been having trouble remembering what purchases I make when I don't get a receipt.

Tomorrow I will be delivering in Sinking Spring. After that, I am going to be working on my submission. I don't have anything planned beyond that.
