Drakengard 3 arrived Friday morning. I was playing Final Fantasy XIII at the time the mail carrier came. So I went and finished the battle I was currently in, reached the next save point, and saved the game. Then I unwrapped the newest in my collection. Honestly, I was disappointed in Amazon's service. The case was broken. It was still wrapped and all, but pieces of the case fell off when I took the plastic off. The game itself was intact, but the case doesn't close. I sent a message to the customer service thingy about it. Now, I know that it could have been due to someone in the postal service, but the way it was damaged makes me think that it was damaged before it was sent. The envelope had no damage to it.
And I have been playing Drakengard 3 ever since. I really like it. Especially now that I bought the Nier background music remixes. The gameplay is nice. The story is nice. The language is not nice. The first moment with Zero and Mikhail was not nice. I had no idea that dragons used the bathroom in the way. Anyway, I have already reached Chapter 2, Verse 2. So far, my favorite character is Mikhail. He is just so innocent. The relationship between Zero and Mikhail is so funny. And I like how it is much easier to upgrade the weapons. And the side quests have been easy so far as well.
Joey stayed here last night. We played video games. We watched Miracle on 34th Street, and then looked at the google satellite images of the North Pole. I told him Santa's workshop was on some small island in the far northern reaches of Canada. Carma called to check up on things. And at 10pm, I put him to bed. All in all, it was a nice night.
Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
Michael
