It broke again...

So it's been a while since the last update. Mil disculpas.
The fourth season of the Trophy Hunters league started on Wednesday. I am going to lose a lot this season. Take this match for example. I am up against Kochiya-Shana, who won the Bronze League in Season 2, and came in second place in the Silver League in Season 3. My online presence has been less because I have been trying to get as many points as possible to catch up to my opponent. And this morning I decided to give up. There is no way I will earn seventy points in ten hours. Not with the rules on games now. So, I will take the loss and move on to the next match.
Besides, with the language books coming soon, I won't be playing as much anyway. I will most likely repeat losses like the 95+ to 30 points one I am in right now. And actually, I am okay with that.
Yesterday I mowed at the office. Carma and Joey were going to the festival in town, and I went along to save me from having to ride the mountain bike to town. While I was there, Mom came to town to visit. After I was done mowing, the two of us walked around the festival for a few hours. It was really nice seeing Mom, as well as my brother and sister. Mom was glad that all three of us kids were together, if only for a few minutes. But then it came time to go. So Mom and I parted, and Carma, Joey, and I went back to the house. It was a nice time.
Last night, Carma was deep-frying some cheese sticks for herself. But then she set the stove on fire. The whole house was smoky. And the nights recently have been cold. We had the windows and doors open, and it wascold in the house. It felt nice.
I said above that I would have had to ride the mountain bike to town. That's is because the right pedal of my red cruiser bike broke off. I noticed the pedal was warping on Thursday morning. I was mentally making plans on getting a new bike while I was riding to town. And when it finally broke, I had to start putting those plans into motion. My main priority however, was finding a way back to the house. I called my brother to ask if would take me to the house before he left for work, but he wasn't able to. Or rather, he wasn't allowed to. I don't know. What I do know is that he has changed ever since Amy came back from rehab. I called Mom and told her the situation. I was walking the business route when my sister called me. She asked if I would accept the help if she would call Dad. I said that I would rather walk to the house to get my mountain bike. She then said that she would take me to the house, if I gave her some gas money. In the end, I got the mountain bike, and was able to finish the route.
After sleeping for a few hours, I went and applied for a replacement using my two-year warranty on the red bike. In order to get the money for a new bike, I have to send in the receipt of the bike through UPS. When they get it, I will be able to buy another new bike. I am still angry that the red bike is already broken. I have only had the thing for eight months. Anyway, along with the new bike, I may be able to get my brother to put the non-broken pedal from the black bike onto the red bike. If the pedals are separate. If they are one piece, then I will have two junk bikes taking up space in the storage unit.
Other than the bike pedal breaking, my route went well. I had most of the route finished whenever the pedal broke. There was only the the south side businesses, and the library section left to deliver. It did rain a lot on Thursday, and I had to alter the route pattern to make it easier for the bike, and myself. It rained so much that the Messenger yard was too wet to mow on Friday. So I delivered in Sinking Spring on Friday and sent the message to Iris that I would mow on Saturday.
I ordered some printer ink, which I needed. I also bought Mom and I batteries for our laptops. Those should be here tomorrow and Tuesday. Also arriving tomorrow (maybe) are the Japanese language textbooks. The workbook didn't have a tracking number, so I don't know where it is. I don't like how Amazon gave me such a large window for delivery. It will arrive anywhere between last Friday and September 29. Anyway, once the ink arrives, I can print out the receipt and the shipping label, and then be one step closer to a new bike.
I was going to ask Larry Joe and Tonya about buying their cruiser bike (it looks exactly like mine), but Mom hit me with a bill of hers from the parole people. She owes them $160, $20 per month that she has been on parole. I told her I would pay it. So yesterday Mom gave me the bill. It will take a couple weeks to come up with the money, but at least it will be paid and she will have one less thing to worry about. I wish they had given her the bill sooner, instead of waiting until eight months of payments were piled up. Oh well. It's getting paid and that's all that matters.
Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
