The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

I chose five poems to be included in the book today. I didn't want to pick too many, because I didn't want to seem like I had a whole chapter to myself. But still, I'm going to have six pages (five poems and a biography page). The biography was the hardest, because the requirement is that it must be 100 words or less. Who could sum up their live in 100 words, especially when it's my life. Anyway, I got it down to 100 by putting as little detail into it, and still trying to put forth a positive message to readers.

The first time I had a poem published, I was eleven years old. Now, I am 26, and I still enjoy writing poetry; though it has taken a back seat in my life.

Poetry is something that each of us has within us. It just takes the right situation to bring that ability out. Before, I would write because I wanted to be noticed, or famous. But now, I write because it means more to me than fame. There is so much to appreciate and be grateful for in this world. I write poetry to put this appreciation into words.

I am sending it off tomorrow. I Emailed the poems and biography to the office Email that way I can print them off there. I really need to get ink for my printer here. Or one of those flash drives so I don't have to Email everything from home to work.

Mario Party 7 and my new messenger bag haven't arrived yet. I was really hoping they'd be here. But the estimated delivery date is...

One sec, I am being stupid. I just checked. They aren't even expected to be here until tomorrow. Oh well. I got excited for nothing. Anyway, the estimated delivery for both items is between tomorrow and the 20th.

I don't want to jinx anything, but I may be getting Final Fantasy XIII-2 with the Episode i book. I have been dropping hints since I saw it yesterday. I think Dad is trying to get on my good side (which just so happens to be a good side to be on). He even paid me everything he owes, so now I have money for myself again.

Tomorrow I am working at the office. I have to make the final changes to the menu, and send it to the client for proofing. I also have to build the paper. I have no idea how it will turn out. I just hope that there won't be any problems with sending the paper to press on Wednesday.

I filmed this Friday's YouTube video. It is ready for posting now, but I will wait until then.

I am now 29th in King of the Web. The statistician in me has already projected where I will end up if the current trends in voting continue. I won't tell until after the final results come out. All I ask is that everybody continue to vote for me. It really means a lot.

I made a current list of all my video games today. And after I finished it, I told myself that I would play from the moment after I post this entry until I get too tired to focus. So, after this is done, I will be playing something. I don't know what yet, but some games have come to mind.
