The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

This morning I went to feed the cats at the house. I managed to catch U and Omega, and my brother and I took the two of them to Carma's. All that is left at the house now is Itsy Bitsy, Stri-P-Grr, and Luca. Luca's doghouse is very heavy. My brother says that he will need to connect the lawn mower to the trailer in order to make it an easy trip. As for the two striped cats, they are proving to be more wild than I imagined. As much as I don't want it to be, the best thing me to let them go. I will still try to catch them, of course, but I can't do that forever. My access to the property is limited. I only have 30-60 days before all access is gone.

After I got back to the house, I stayed with Mom and the two of us waited. She waited for Alan (the person formerly known as my Uncle), and I waited for the mail carrier. Only one of those two people showed up, and they were much later than expected. Normally, the mail is delivered between 9-10am. Today it didn't show up until 11:45am. At least she had what I was expecting. My copy of Thief and that dumb shirt showed up. After that, I carried the dog food into the garage because I didn't want Alan to throw it out for being in the house. It turned out that it didn't matter, because he never showed up today. Anyway, after that was done, I told Mom that I was going to head back. Carma was needing me to stand watch for the bus driver for when Joey got off the bus. Mom grew tired of waiting, and headed out as well. She was going to be walking, which is something I didn't want her to do. But she had to make some distance, because it would start snowing soon. We hugged, I cried, and we went in opposite directions.

Right now as I type this, I am in between one of the biggest cats I have ever seen and a big puppy. The puppy is called Jackson, and the cat is Brutus, or Broody. Normally, Brutus is whooping up on Jackson. Tonight however, Carma isn't here, and the two of them have decided that the best place for themselves is up on the bed with me. The only problem is that I have to get out of bed in order to turn the light off.

Tomorrow is another day of this new routine. I will talk more about it tomorrow. I am off to sleep. I hope to sleep all night tonight. I probably won't, but I can always wish. That's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
