The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

Currently, with the gaming blog and my YouTube channel, Google owes a whole three cents (USD). I can almost buy a piece of candy at the Ace Hardware in Peebles! Yay! My gaming blog is really blowing up in activity lately. Nearly 200 views since I started it. And the rising Russian audience is still blowing my mind. And most recently, Germany has been changing the color on my map as well (the darker the green, the more the blog's seen). Anyway, the simple fact that people are checking it out makes me so happy. It really makes me want to continue the challenge and complete each game I play.

And now the frustration of my day must be mentioned. I am filled with so much rage with The Adventure of Link right now. I am glad no one other than myself was home today. If my family had been here, they probably would have forced me to stop playing and read a book instead or something. I wanted to throw my controller into the television today! I hate that I start over at the Northern Palace every time I get a Game Over! If I could just continue where I died, then everything would be fine. But this whole, you must start over at the very beginning is really getting to me. What's going to happen when I reach the final boss battle and I die? I am going to have to do all that travelling over and over, that's what.

I did progress in the game though. Even if it was just a tiny bit.

During my breaks of rage, I played Pokemon FireRed. Here's a video containing some of what I did today.



I recorded a bit more than that, but I cut the recording in two to make sure I have some for the next episode.

And then this evening, I played some osu!mania multiplayer. I somehow managed to beat a top tier player on a song I never played before. This person was in the Top 1,000 in the world. I was so shocked. It was only a narrow win, I won by 4,000 points I think. It may seem like a lot, but when the maximum score is 1,000,000; 4,000 points is the equivalent of one basic note in a song. I have never even heard the song before, but it was from an anime. I don't know which one, because I have never seen it before. Here, I found the song in my list of beatmaps.

I rode to Sinking Spring today to deliver newspapers. The road crews repaved the road from Highland County all the way Sinking Spring with that weird chip and seal stuff. It made the ride so much slower than normal. It just feels so uneven on the bike.

My brother deep-fried some pizza rolls for his dinner tonight. I had no idea that you could do that. I've heard that you can pretty much deep-fry anything, but it just seems weird to do that to pizza rolls. It takes only a fraction of the time to just microwave them. You could make and eat half of a bag before the deep fryer is even heated up enough to make them in it.

My copy of Gran Turismo 4 arrived in the mail today. And Xenosaga III is still traveling. At least now it is in Ohio. It should arrive in a few days, unless it decides to take a spur of the moment trip to Guam or someplace. I wouldn't be surprised if it did.
