I am so glad that I left at 5am this morning for work. When I arrived at the office, the person who delivers the papers had just arrived himself. If I had left at the usual 2:30am, I would have been waiting there for 3.5 hours. And on top of the normal waiting, I would have been stuck outside in freezing temperature. You see, the lock on the shed was completely covered in thick ice and we couldn't get our keys in the lock. Unfortunately, the plastic bags were in the shed, which meant that I couldn't deliver the residential route until it was unlocked. So, I went ahead and delivered to the businesses first. When I was over by Iris' house, I sent her a message asking if she would give me a bowl of hot water to melt the ice. It was either ask for hot water, or urinate on the lock; and it felt too cold outside to urinate.

I was given the hot water and folded the papers. Then I got my check when the owner arrived and unlocked the door for me. After that, I delivered to the residents. Then I bought some things I needed, cashed my check, and went toward home. While at Grandma's I helped her prepare for tomorrow's big dinner. All I did was take the apple peelings out and removed the ashes from her wood stove so she wouldn't have to go out in the cold. She was baking pies when I arrived. After that, we watched The Price is Right. Then Dad arrived, and he and Grandma got into a slight shouting match when he checked the wood stove and set it to a point where the neighbors called her asking if the house was on fire. Before Dad took me home, I got a piece of candy from Grandma's Halloween candy bowl.

Dad took me to Sinking Spring so I could deliver there today rather than ride there tomorrow morning. Then he took me home. I unloaded my bike from the truck, checked the mail and went into the house. While walking to the house, I dropped my phone and the little rubber thing that covers the charger port fell off. I couldn't find it. When I had unloaded my stuff, I checked the stove, stoked the fire, and fell asleep with my Santa fleece blanket on the couch.

I woke to my brother doing something in the kitchen. Then he turned the television on and started watching a movie. I was still too tired to move to another room, so I watched the movie with him. It was some older movie with Sylvester Stallone and John Lithgow. The only time I got up was to get Omega and put him on my chest. He was so warm.

Since then, I have been going in and out of sleepy mode. It's only just now that feel rested. And I don't feel cold anymore. Ever since I got home I've felt so cold. Maybe it's my age getting to me, but it was like my bones were cold or something. I could probably feel warmer if I would actually cover my legs rather than wear shorts while I'm at home. So it's my own fault.

Anyway, the plan for tomorrow is to play games all day. It's highly unlikely that I'll go to the dinner tomorrow. Grandma asked me if I would, and I said that I don't know. I don't want to go, because Dad will be there. I don't want to voluntarily go somewhere if Dad is going to be there. Also, tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of my brother wrecking that car. I don't know what it is, but I feel like something bad is going to happen if I go to the dinner.

Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael
