I arrived at the office at 8:43am, and I started working immediately. There were quite a few ads in my tray. However, what I thought was a lot turned out to be only a few that I could actually work on. The new sales reps (the office hired two more) forgot to put where to get the ads from, so I couldn't do anything until everyone else arrived.
Overall, work today was alright. I was able to make an 8-page paper, and I think it looks great. Whether it will be once it gets printed is not up to me. From what I saw of the pdf version I sent to the press, it looks great.
I also got some more completed on the Dairy Bar menu today. And since it is so close to completion, I am working in the office tomorrow to finish it up. And then I will send it home, print out a color copy, and be able to give to the owner of the dairy bar for approval. But still, I am working in the office and earning more money tomorrow. The priority will be to safely and efficiently deliver the paper tomorrow, but I think I will have plenty of time to finish the menu as well.
I earned two trophies in Grand Theft Auto IV when I was playing a little while ago. I deliver all the vehicles to Brucie, and unlocked the helicopter ability by getting his like/respect percentage to 100%. I haven't advanced the story yet. After I earned the trophies, I continued where I left off in getting rid of the Most Wanted criminals by using the police car computers.
And that was pretty much my day. All this work is leaving me no time to play games as much as I would like, but it's worth it.
I did gather up the stuff I will need to get an ID card. Since Dad is still being a sack of bad words, I will not be asking him to cash my checks anymore. It is just one more way that he was claiming I was using him. And this coming from the person who can't even pay his portion of the bills. He owes me for the phone bill. On the phone that I don't even use. He will have to get straightened up soon, because I am not going to be paying for something I don't use every month. Not when it's costing me $40+ each month. That's what a video game costs (I actually don't know how much they cost at a store, so I could be wrong).
I saw at the RedBox in town that it has the new Tomb Raider game in it. Having never completed either of the Tomb Raider games, I automatically wanted to rent a copy. But as I have never completed either game I own, I managed to convince myself to wait until I finish what I already have before I bring another game into my life.
Well, 5am comes early, and I have a moonlight bike ride in the morning, so I will end here. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
