I feel as if I haven't slept in days, but I am wanting to tell you about my great day.

First, I have nearly maxed out the memory on my PS3. I had no idea that the updates for all these games would take so much space. If I had known this ahead of time, I would have considered getting a better one. I have used 39.25 of my 40 GB PS3. I will have to go through and delete stuff from the games I am not playing. Like Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy X-2, and maybe even Fallout 3. I tried to play a game I got at GameStop today, but there wasn't enough space to play it. More on what game a little later.

I left the house this morning at 9am. I stopped at Grandma's and told her of my itinerary for the day. Then I stopped at the Dairy Bar and left the menu proof in an envelope taped to the door. After that, I visited my sister at her house. It took a while for her to wake up and answer the door. Then I got my ID card, went shopping, cash my check, did some more shopping, and ate at Taco Bell. Finally, I returned home. When you look at it that way, it was a great trip.

But...

It was so long! It took what seemed like forever just to get to my sister's. Then when I thought I might have passed Hillsboro by not taking the correct turn, I was told by a nice postal employee that I still had ten miles left to go to even get there. And the ride home. Despite "knowing" this way of getting back home, I still had no clue about any of it. I kept thinking I was close to home, that just over the next hill would be Sinking Spring, but it was just another stupid hill. When I finally did get home, I couldn't move my legs. One, because I was so tired; and two, because I feared if I flex a muscle for any reason that I would get a muscle cramp. I will NEVER take State Route 73 to Hillsboro EVER. That whole road is a gigantic uphill climb. I don't care what Miley Cyrus says, it is not the climb. It is the destination.

But it was still super awesome. I would do it again if I get the chance, minus State Route 73. I got an ID, bought three video games, ate inside a restaurant, and get a great workout that makes my legs look even better than before. And that is difficult, because they were amazing to look at to begin with.

The BMV was nothing like what's on TV shows. I had no idea that I was related to someone that worked there. I was given priority in line and managed to get everything done without a hitch and was out of there in less than 15 minutes.

Then I went to Wal-Mart. I looked at the video game selection, and it wasn't great. They did have an Assassin's Creed game, but I don't know which one is which, so I didn't buy it or any other game I saw. I did however buy some accessories for my bike. A new bike lock, a headlight, and a bell. Then I cashed my check and left.

After getting lost in a parking lot, I went to GameStop. It was not as cool as I imagined. What I liked best about it was that I was the only customer there at the time (probably because school hadn't let out yet). I took my time and purchased a pre-owned copy of Skyrim (aka the game that made me realize I had little space remaining on my hard drive).

I left GameStop and when I couldn't decide where to eat at, I went to KMart to give me more time to decide where to eat. I went to the gaming section, and bought two games. Portal 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I know very little about both games, but they only cost me $9.99 each, so I didn't care.

Finally, I ate one of those Doritos Tacos over at Taco Bell. I also ordered a large Root Beer. I was extremely thirsty after all that riding.

Then, I rode home. Throughout the trip, I sent text messages to my brother so he wouldn't worry too much. Every time I would get to a new town, I would message him. It's the least I could do, because he gets all of my stuff if something were to happen to me.

There was one thing I didn't like too much about my trip. A couple idiots thought they would try to attack me by hurling a water jug at me from their car. They missed completely, and I laughed so hard. It was an unnatural laugh, probably from all the endorphins in my system at the time. I sent a message to my brother about it.

I arrived at home at 3:46 pm. That gave me only an hour to prepare for my first session with Joey, the kid I am tutoring on reading and spelling. It went well, despite me being super tired. But, I think Joey may be too difficult for me to tutor. I think he may be dyslexic. He is showing all of the same signs my brother did. I have another theory as well. It's possible that he isn't right-handed. He may be a leftie in a right-handed environment. I will have a chat with a teacher of mine on more details.

The plan for tomorrow is to rest. If I get bored, I have games to play. I have also had the urge to maybe go to the bank and start an account. I want to wait until I am in town for a reason (work), but my legs have other ideas. Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael

I am so glad my desk chair has wheels, and that my desk is only inches from my bed.

You can buy a laptop HDD for the PS3 and give yourself more space. Sony's got instructions on what to do to swap it out and all getting the firmware on it. Might help out if you're going to be playing a lot of games on it and not want it to fill up quickly.

That's great advice. I will look into it.
