I'm like a culinary wizard

It seems the closer we get to summer, the worse the weather gets. Well now that's out the way, on with the blog...
I had the house to myself today which meant I was left with a bit of house work to do over the course of the day. I don't mind doing chores, if I don't do them there's a large chance no-one else will, plus It helped to kill a few hours overall.
Tonight was my turn to make dinner so I decided to make so kind of pasta-ery thing out of whatever we had in the fridge and food-cupboard thing. Turns out we had quite little so I improvised a bit and made it with onion, mushrooms, salami and sweetcorn and a jar of pasta bake sauce which needed to be used up, oh and pasta too, of course. As I said, I'm a culinary wizard.
I decided to make a chart of what Augments my characters in Final Fantasy IV are equipped with along with the stat boosts that they will be given once they reach level 71, which is when they start to influence how each character progresses.
Without going into too much detail and with their current Augments equipped:
Cecil will receive: 10 Hp, 5 Mp, 2 Strength, 2 Stamina, 1 Spirit (the power of White Magic)
He gets most of the stat boosts required for his Job. High Hp, Strength and Stamina are all needed for taking hits while Covering and for making the enemy pay by dealing around 5000 damage to those weak against the Holy Element. He has naturally high Hp but I'd prefer it if he got more than just 10. +1 Spirit is needed for when he casts Cura as the back up healer.
Rosa will receive: 20 Mp, 3 Spirit, 1 Intelligence (the power of Black Magic, rather useless on a white mage), and 1 Speed.
I'm a little concerned that Rosa won't be getting any Hp boosts which means she'll be stuck with rather lower Health while everyone else is getting theirs boosted. Mp, Spirit and Speed boosts are all necessary for a White Mage but the Intelligence boost isn't needed. She won't need too much in the way of Stamina as Cecil is usually set to Cover her.
Kain will receive: 30 Hp, 3 Strength, 2 Stamina and 1 Intelligence (again rather useless on a character who doesn't learn magic).
I'm the happiest with how Kain will be leveling up as he doesn't learn any form of magic, therefore he doesn't need to worry about Mp, Spirit or Intelligence. The boosts he'll get to Hp, Strength and Stamina means he'll most likely overtake Cecil in the damage dealing department.
Rydia will receive: 10 Hp, 10/15 Mp (depending on if she has Piercing Magic or Tsunami, respectively), 1/2 Strength (again depending on which Augment she has, 1/2 Spirit (see above but not so useful on a Black Mage) 2 Intelligence and 1 Stamina (see above too).
I'm quite happy with Rydia, she's become some sort of a Red Mage now that she's been equipped with a Whip and can deal a considerable amount of damage. Like all Red Mages, her stat boosts cover most areas but don't do anything special.
Finally, Edge will receive: 10 Hp, 5 Mp, 1 Strength, 2 Speed, 1 Intelligence.
And Edge is the same as always. As he has his default set of abilities the biggest boost he gets is Speed, and seeing as he usually gets two turns in the time it takes others to execute one, he'll be able to cast Mirage, a Ninjustu form of Blink, in no time.
In terms of progress with this game, I made it down another two floors in my great friend, the Lunar Subterrane. After killing a Blue Dragon it dropped the Dragon Whisker, Rydia's most powerful Whip, at least I think it's her most powerful weapon, each version of Final Fantasy IV tends to have its own list of weapons so there could be another one after it. Regardless as its status the Dragon Whisker is a very rare drop, so I made sure to Teleport out of there and save my progress. Considering I also got Kain's Wyvern Lance as a rare drop from a Blue Dragon I think I'm having quite good luck in that department. Also Cecil is now decked out with full Dragon Armour, which halves the damage from the 'primary elements' which im assuming is Fire, Ice and Lightning.
Well that was my day.You wouldn't believe it's taken me nearly two hours to type this thing out. It doesn't help that I got distracted and forgot about it about a quarter of the way in but oh well. As usual, thanks for reading and i'll hopefully see you around the forums.
