Update: The Secret Life of Bards

Rate this Entry
Is renamed and completed, coming in at a first draft of 5800 words. The proper title I'm using is The Song of Wolf. It's part of a series of short stories that carries the overall title of The Secret Life of Bards. Cause I like it.

Really excited to have completed it so quickly. Written over the course of about six days, averaging about 1000 words per writing session.

Going to sit on it for a few days before revising. I did send it to one friend to read just to see what he thinks. Once I get his comments back I'll take another look at the story. My ultimate plan is to have the story revised and ready to submit by the end of the month.

In the meantime, I have other projects on the docket. Some for here, since I've been behind on things and need to play catchup. I also have the Deathwalker stories to work on, and I can start thinking about my next Bard story. I have no idea what it'll be about, but the title that's stuck in my mind is "The Bard Who Cried Wolf".

For the curious, the Wolf is not a literal animal; he's one of the two (reluctant) main characters of the series.
