Digital Life

Working on The Song of Wolf, the official title for the first story in my Secret Life of Bards short story series. It's a bit strange in that I know how the characters get where they are, and I know how they end up, but what I don't know is how that happens. Basically, I'm a bit stumped as to what actually happens in the middle. Part of it probably has to do with the fact that I'm writing in first person, which I don't normally do. Another part is that being from the perspective of a bard, I'm trying to give it a lyrical quality which ends up being kind of dreamlike.

And maybe it's just because I'm overtired because my curmudgeonly cat decided it was acceptable to wake me up at 5:30 a.m. just because he felt like it. Definitely does not help the thought processes any.
