So it turns out I'm going to be 19 tomorrow. Shocking, no? My Dad asked if I was up to anything on Wednesday because he's booked a table at the pub. I was confused but still said yes because it was completely out of the blue and it wasn't until I checked the calender on my phone that this Wednesday is the 23rd, my birthday. Yay, I guess.

While I'm at it, today makes it two years since I joined TFF, in an attempt to share the (dumb) things I had to say about Final Fantasy and gaming ...

I've been unable to post anything the past four or five days, and seeing as I'm going away again for a couple of days I figured I should post something here to clear away the cobwebs.

On Thursday I'm going on a trip with my girlfriend and her parents (yay..) to Whitanga, pronounced "Fiti- anga" with less emphasis on the first 'a'. The two of us were going to go originally but her parents were always planning on going there too, so we agreed ...

After trying to shake it off without touching it I found out it was the remains of a rat that her cat had bought in last night and so I had to hop around while trying not to throw up because it also stank like, well, rat guts. I've been losing track of the days lately, I go through the entire week assuming it's Friday but when that day comes I'm just as confused. It's been a pretty lax day so far, It's 11.15am and I've done most of the housework that needs to be done so now I'm sitting here typing and watching a bit of youtube.

Those are the two things I've been up to recently. A couple weeks ago I had a big urge to read the original Pokemon Adventures manga so I managed to order the first three volumes from a comic book store in town.They had none in stock so they had to be shipped from the UK at $60 for the three of them. Again that's in New Zealand dollars, it's roughly the same amount in other currencies except for the GBP which is more or less.
