Nintendo won't bundle the games I want on the Wii U, besides there's no games on the Wii U I want right now. When I can find a Wii for $50 used, I'll buy it. Lowered demand on it will push the price down to a range I'm willing to pay.

You could always look into a Wii U when a bundle comes along that you like, or a price drop or something of the sort. Fully backwards compatible with all Wii titles AND peripherals.

I did the same thing Rowan, I own Last Story, Muramasa and Xenoblade, but no Wii and I'll buy Pandora's Tower when it comes out. I plan on getting a Wii, but I'll get one when I can find one for a price I'm willing to pay.

But glad you're able to have the money to buy things you want and not just what you need. It is good to do something for yourself. Hope you play FFXIII-2 eventually.

Nice read on your blog, Michael. Hope the projects and other stuff going on at work go really well for you. As far as gaming goes be careful about the impulse buying on games, I learned that it isn't a good idea to stock up on more games on top of games you have yet to finish, it becomes a real mess.

Both of those games seem great. I won't have to worry about wanting Pandora's Tower, though. It won't be released here until late-March.

I dont own a wii but I find myself wanting to buy Pandoras Tower and the Last Story. It pains me that they would be on such a console.

The Hunger Games - shoulda read the books first, man. There's quite a bit that wasn't translated well into the movie.

Even Better: Battle Royale - I can't think of the author's name. It came out in '99 originally in Japanese and later translated into English. Yes there's also a movie (only in Japanese with subtitles, though). Thanks, Martin, for your vote. I greatly appreciate it! I love watching people play video games more than actually playing myself. And I always support TFF members who stream/post videos of them playing. I am subscribed to I think ten TFF members on YouTube (actually, it's only nine; the tenth is a member of another forum). I give likes to their videos and even post their channels to my channel so people who view mine can easily view theirs as well. And on Twitch, I only follow TFF members (GypsyElder, che, LocoColt04, and others). If you were to stream/post, I would watch you as well.

I don't how to stream myself, but I post a video on YouTube every Friday. For now. I am still trying to balance YouTube with work and find a time I can devote to filming. When things get more settled, I would like to try to film more.

Is everyone really just streaming their gaming these days? I'd watch them but I can't understand the logic really - I'd rather just be playing than watching someone play personally. I think it has something to do with having really limited net access here too though. I'd stream my games but I doubt many people would be interested in little 'ol me.

Both 6 and 7 use the microphone. I couldn't find a bundle cheap enough, so I had to buy them separate. I told my brother that chances were that the microphone would arrive before the game. I think the microphone was something not used enough with the GameCube. Only four games were compatible with it.

I thought Mario Party 6 was the one that utilized the microphone - in fact, I'm almost certain it came with a bundle. Did 7 also support it? Would make sense, I suppose.

I am the biggest wimp when it comes to horror games. Here are some examples:

And those are just a few. I have to play horror games in the middle of the day with happy music playing and as much light as possible. Because if I can hear the sounds of the game, I will stop playing. I will look into them though.

Play Fear1 or Condemned and even Doom 3 at midnight with earphones. Those games freaked me out the most, but I still love them because of the amount of adrenaline they give me. Start with Doom 3 and you'll get used to it.

I don't know exactly what the deal is with your dad and all, But judging by the fact that you happen to be dancing about what happened.

Just try to find more common ground and get your dad to like you again. It might take time, but I think it's possible. See the good in your dad and he'll see the good in you. Then he won't get on the negative side as much. And about cleaning your room, he may just want you to be more organized and disciplined. Don't take it too offensively.

I see your point, but I could never do any of that. You see, I have given him love and respect my entire life. Even with the physical violence due to his bad habits and his own violent upbringing. When he went to prison, I stepped into my role as responsible adult without question. Then after he came back, he forgot all that he was taught in order to be released and returned the abusive person who cares for no one but himself. The promises I was told on how he would be a better father flew out the window when he came home.

As for making him mad, I don't see how changing who I am to make his temperament better would benefit me. Yeah, it would mean a more pleasant life; but at the cost of who I am and what I value. I can't give anymore than I already do to remain sane and not start whacking people in the head with a pool cue. There isn't that much left in me to give at this point.

Learn to ignore. Also use abit of cognitive behavioral therapy. Ask him if he'd marry a porn star or become one, if he so likes to talk about it and what would he feel if you became a porn star. Then ask him if he wants you to buy him an escort for his birthday and so you can both have a duo. If he starts objecting, ask him why not and tell him this is what you think he likes, when he talks about and praises porn. That might get him thinking what kind of impression he's giving you. Also do less to piss him off. When he tells you to clean your room, just do it. Beats having to listen to him every time. That'll also show him that you respect him and his house. Give and take, that's what it's all about.

Since I normally work three days each week, a vacation doesn't really make much sense. I'm not much for an actual celebration of my birth, but I wouldn't mind having one. If only Ohio could be have have 80 degree weather that day. That was always my favorite thing about having birthdays in Arizona, it wasn't cold and never snowed that day.
