Today while I was waiting to pay for my new clothes at the new store in Sinking Spring, I was told by the clerk that they aren't allowed to have newspapers anymore. So, now they will no longer get newspapers, and they lost most of my business. Not because they don't want the newspapers, but because I don't have to go in as often and so I won't be tempted to buy stuff as much.

It also means that I don't have as much to deliver now! Yay for not having to carry as much on my bicycle! ...

Delivering today was okay. It rained lightly throughout most of the it. There was one kinda funny thing worth mentioning.

As circulation manager, it's my job to separate the newspapers and any inserts among the carriers. Since Jenn, one of our sales staff members is also a carrier now (for how much longer, I don't know), I place her allotted amount on her desk. I got to the office this morning at 8:45am. Work went smoothly until it was decided that we would have a 12-page paper instead of one with 8 pages. Ad sales were low today, and so I really had to spread out the ads. And since ad sales remained slow throughout the day, I had to rush to find something to fill in the extra space. In my head, I was running late this morning. In reality, I was still an hour early arriving at the office. I felt as if I wasn't able to get things done fast enough before I left the house this morning. I am glad that I arrived early, because there were some changes to the office and I had plenty of time to adjust to them.

First change was that my office had curtains on the windows. I was so happy to see them, because it was so bright in there without them. It is still bright ...

I didn't do a lot of gaming today. I didn't sleep well, and I was too tired all day to do much of anything. I blame my cats. The three of them took up most of the bed, and they were sleeping so cutely that I couldn't bear to wake them and have them move over. So I slept on my couch again. Then Itsy Bitsy woke me up to go outside, even though I left my window open so I wouldn't have to let them out.
