  1. That One Bastard of a Bronze (Trophy), Darksiders Edition

Since Darksiders is free on the PSN store, I decided to grab it and finish off the final few trophies I had left to get the platinum. I know, no one cares about trophies, it's the completionist in me. You can tell how much I like a game by how far out of my way I go to collect those little virtual cups.

Battle Hardened was one I'd been working on so I got that first. Tedious as hell, but not difficult in the least. And I found some amusement in punching ravens to death with the Tremor ...
  2. Update: The Secret Life of Bards

Is renamed and completed, coming in at a first draft of 5800 words. The proper title I'm using is The Song of Wolf. It's part of a series of short stories that carries the overall title of The Secret Life of Bards. Cause I like it.

Really excited to have completed it so quickly. Written over the course of about six days, averaging about 1000 words per writing session.

Going to sit on it for a few days before revising. I did send it to one friend to read just to see ...

  3. Pieces of a Puzzle

Working on The Song of Wolf, the official title for the first story in my Secret Life of Bards short story series. Another part is that being from the perspective of a bard, I'm trying ...

  4. Other Goals 2013

While writing is one of my focus areas this year, I do have some other goals. I only count the factors I can control, of course.

    Career:
Job hunting - even if I don't find anything, I'll know I tried.
College - continue working on degree and certificate.
Independent study - pick up at least one new skill outside of college.

    Life:
Get in shape - I want to lose about 19 lbs, but more importantly I just want to be in better shape.
    Cooking ...

  5. Writing Goals 2013

As with many people, the start of a new year means the end of some goals and the time to make new ones. I tend to break mine down by category. I don't think I finished any of my writing goals from last year but since I don't even remember what those goals were, I guess it's not that important, heh.

    January Goals:
Revise Deathwalker (short story) & start sending it out
Rewrite Deathwalker 2: The Devourer (short story)
Write The Secret Life of Bards (short story) ...
