Like an idiot, I thought I was healthy enough to belt out some songs and dance. But I was tired after about five minutes. As for the singing, I can still hold a long note, but my range has dropped to two octaves. It is nowhere near what I am used to, but this sore throat voice I have right now opens up a whole new list of songs to try out before I get well. What song did I use as a test of my range? Well, this one...I really like IU's songs, and her role in Dream High was my favorite. ...
As much as I refuse to accept it, I am sick. I woke up this morning and decided that the best way to get over this cold is to just stay in bed. But I had to deliver to the stores. So, I breathed as little as possible while near people. I don't want people I don't know to get sick because of me. Now, if someone I didn't like was to come in contact with me, I may just cough in their face. Or vomit on command. I've always had an overactive gag reflex, and can throw up if I wanted to. Anyway, it being super frigid outside didn't help. There's nothing less attractive ...
My allergies have been acting up today. I wish the weather would stabilize to something remotely normal. I have been sneezing all day. I wish I was actually sick with something, because then I could get better. But I just have to deal with it when it's allergies. Yeah, there's medications I could take, but I don't take medicine and haven't for 13 years. I should have known that I would be like this now, because they didn't do this in the spring. Anyway... This ...
My computer arrived! I was about to go take a shower to clear my sinuses, and I here some vehicle pull in the driveway. Thinking it was my brother, I turn the porch light on, and stick my head out the door. It wasn't my brother. It was the UPS man! He said that I have a heavy package, and I knew right then that it was the computer. Well, I figured it was the computer anyway because I don't have anything else coming from UPS. I unpacked the box and set it up. Oh, I just love ...
