The big news of the day is that I have a new family member. Yesterday I was asked to go under the deck and find Omega. Instead of Omega, there was a different black cat under there. This cat is half the size of Omega, and has a white spot on his belly about the size of a U.S. quarter. Grandma came to visit today, and gave us our Christmas money. So, now I have more money, but nowhere to spend it. I think Dad is also giving us kids money, because he said he was going to his room to do some Christmas shopping. Besides, at the beginning of the month he said that he'd be giving us kids money.

I went to work at the office this morning. We had about an inch (maybe more) of snow on the ground. And despite constant updates of the weather, the heat throughout the office was turned off. I had my scarf over my face most of the time I was working. And I'm not talking about one of the fancy little scarves that are used for decoration. I use a giant wooly one from xdye.
