Okay, I my entry titles have veered from Slender: The Eight Pages to become more like the battle against Tantarian in Final Fantasy IX. Each time you hit it, a new page pops up, and you don't know which one it will be. Anyway, no, I didn't play Slender today. I thought about it, and then I started watching Sailor Moon, and forgot that I thought of playing it until now.

Continuing with the whole Slender theme, I tried playing it again today. I could only get one page. I started out going the same way I always go, because it is normal, safe (ha!!). But either the game randomizes the landmarks along with the pages locations or I took a wrong turn somewhere. Instead of going to the scary bathroom, I found the creepy rocks. After I picked up the page, I scared myself out of playing anymore.

The big news of the day was that someone drove their car into an electric pole and caused a blackout in the area for four hours. I don't like blackouts in the winter. Mainly because of the wood stove. When the power goes out, there is no way for the heat the stove creates to circulate throughout the house. This causes the room the stove is in to get extremely hot quickly. And it also causes the fire in the stove to really get cooking. The pipe going from the stove to the chimney sometimes ...

Right now I am listening to/watching the fifth episode of China's "Clash of the Choirs". They started the program with the judges/coaches of the show performing a Mandarin version of "Gangnam Style". Then a broadway style choir scored 67 points and lost to the tribal choir's score of 150 points. Now, a Pop style choir is performing a theatrical version of "Beat It" and will be going up a Central China tribal choir. The Beat It choir won their face off

This morning I attempted Slender: The Eight Pages again. I had a brightly lit room, and I felt more confident than all those other attempts at the game. I started the game, and managed to find one page. I found it in a building that reminds me of a rest stop bathroom. And as soon as I found, I hightailed it out of that building because I did not want SlenderMan to get me. I tried to go back the way I came, but I wasn't able to find my way.
