Anywho. New post just to scooch the other one down the line a bit and get it somewhat outta the way. I will say this, and that's it. I'm over it - I'm fine. Like I said, there's a lot going on that's really put a strain on me lately and my nerves have been on the fritz for the last couple of weeks - that whole situation just was kinda .. Apparently there are several members who think my being here is pointless/unnecessary/ whatever ..... According to Michael anyway. Yep, "called you out", dude. So, I'm not going to continue to overstay a welcome that was apparently never there. Fun while it lasted though. Thanks. Feel free to delete my account and any threads/content I've added.
So Jay comes home and starts talking all this Army mumbo jumbo and using abbreviations & Army Man terms that I know nothing about or understand. After practically yelling at him to explain to me what these terms & letters mean (seriously, it's like a foreign language dude), he tells me that everyone else that's not getting deployed in August/September is getting their contracts bought out in like 2 months.. Everyone except for him and 1 other person. ...
The only plus side to this situation is the fact that we're 5 minutes away from the TN/KY state line and KY liquor laws are not completely gay like TN's, so I can go buy a bottle of hard liquor if I really wanna on a Sunday. I was ready to move back to my 'hood in like 5 months. But NO. Jay has to change his freaking mind -again- about what he wants to do with his freaking life and decided he wants to do aircraft mechanics ..... 'Cuz there's a school right behind our apt complex ...
So last night, Jay not only ate -a lot- of leftover turkey chili, but he also went through: an entire (large) bag of hot wings, plus the smaller box of TGI Fridays brand of wings, then the bag of Chinese Dumplings I'd bought and then more turkey chili. He said something about me cooking too much and I had to sit him down and patiently explain to him that 1.) Cooking for just 2 people has never been in my vocabulary - even when I lived alone.
