The storm arrived later than forecast. Instead of the storm being over by the time I would leave for work, it didn't start until right before I left and lasted until right before I was finished working. In fact, I actually had to stop working because it was raining so much that it was difficult to see and ride the bike.

I arrived at work at 9am this morning. Misty was already there when I arrived. She had been there since seven in the morning. She didn't expect to see me, so she had practically finished the paper when I showed up. After the run down of what she had done, I was left to complete it. I finished what was left and made the corrections that needed to be made. It took a little longer than I had hoped, but it was finished before the deadline, and that is all that matters.

To put my head on a desk. Not my desks at school, not at work, not even at home. But today while working, I really felt like putting my head on the desk. Maybe it was because I did about ten hours of work in 6.5 hours. Maybe it was because I woke up way too early. All I know is that I still didn't.

Today I didn't do much at all. I couldn't, really. It was storming most of the day, and I don't have my electronics on when it's storming. Or at least I try to keep them off when it is. There are times when it is "necessary", like when I am too lazy to turn on my radio and find out when the storm is going to pass. Or when I am bored out of my mind and have nothing that doesn't involve electronics that I want to use to occupy my time. Normally, the power will go out when I have electronics ...
