I have created a thorough, step-by-step guide, to help you complete this game. There may be a few area of this walkthrough that you may not quite understand. I will do my best to clarify some of this information for you. As you may notice in the Table of Contents, I have added a few letters and nunmbers next to each section of the FAQ / Walkthrough. If you can't locate the section that you are looking for, please do the following. INTERNET EXPLORER USERS - Select 'Edit', located on the toolbar at the top of your screen. - Select 'Find', or simply hold Ctrl, then hit the F Key. - Input the four digit code that is shown next to the corresponding section into the search bar and select 'Find Next'. Because of the unique structure of this game, this walkthrough has been set up, so the player recieves the most out of this game. If there is something in this FAQ / Walkthrough that you do not understand, please don't hesistate to send me an e-mail. - - - [3] [ Walkthrough ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ C01S ] [ Chapter 1 ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ AC01 ] [ Luca ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - At the very beginning of the game, after Yuna's musical introduction, you will immediately enter a battle scene. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ? ? ? ? Level: 1 HP: 82 MP: 9, 999 EXP: 3 AP: 1 Gil: 100 Gil (P): 300 Steal: Hi-Potion - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - At the beginning of this battle, have Rikku steal a Budget Grenade from one of the two Goons. Use the Budget Grenade on Rikku's next turn to defeat the two Goons. After defeating both of the two Goons, Yuna (Leblanc) will only hit Paine and Rikku with her Thunder ability. You should be able to finish off Yuna (Leblanc) with regular physical attacks. Before defeating Yuna (Leblanc), have Rikku steal a Hi-Potion from her, as they are quite hard to come across this early in the game. - - - Yuna (Leblanc) will now make a quick escape to Dock #3, outside of the Stadium. You'll also encounter an endless supply of Goons along the way. An easy strategy to follow for defeating these Goons, is to have Rikku steal at least one Budget Grenade from a Goon in each battle. Use these Budget Grenades in the following battles, as they will most likely defeat the Goons in one hit. If at any point you need healing, look for the person in a Moogle Costume by the crates on Dock #2. Continue to Dock #3, and meet up with Paine. You'll eventually encounter Logos and Ormi; two of Leblanc's Syndicates who somewhat resemble a more modern Team Rocket. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Logos, Ormi Level (L): 2 Level (O): 2 HP (L): 86 MP (L): 18 EXP (L): 3 AP (L): 1 HP (O): 86 MP (O): 18 EXP (O): 3 AP (O): 1 Gil (L): 60 Gil (L)(P): 200 Gil (O): 60 Gil (O)(P): 200 Steal (O): Iron Bangle Steal (L): Silver Glasses - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Logos (Ranged) will attack using Pistols, while Ormi (Melee), attacks using his sword. I would suggest takikng out Logos first, as he attacks much quicker than Ormi. You can also steal an Iron Bangle from Ormi, and Silver Glasses from Logos. Two accessories that will help build up your characters. Focus Paine and Rikku as the two attackers. Yuna's Trigger Happy ability can strike the target multiple times. Use this skill on Logos as he is quite vulnerable to this attack. You should then be able to quite easily finish off Ormi. - - - After defeating both Logos and Ormi, the two Syndicates will step aside, leaving Leblanc to finish the rest. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Leblanc Level: 5 HP: 130 MP: 101 EXP: 8 AP: 2 Gil: 180 Gil (P): 500 Steal: Silver Bracer - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - In this next fight, you'll learn about Spherechange. This brings back the Job System that you might recognize from previous Final Fantasy titles. Follow the on-screen instructions to have Yuna transform into a Songstress. Have Paine and Rikku use their physical attacks on Leblanc, while Focusing Yuna's turns on using Darkness Dance, which will inflict Darkness to Leblanc on each turn, gradually weakening her accuracy. - - - [ Mission Complete ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ BC01 ] [ Airship Celsius ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Locate Shinra at his command post, on the right side of the bridge. He will explain most of the basic features of Final Fantasy X-2. Speak to Shinra, select 'Shinra's Guide to Everything', then complete the Garment Grid tutorial, to obtain the Vanguard Dressphere. Speak to Buddy, the Al Bhed using the console to the left, to recieve an Al Bhed Primer. Speak to Brother, the Al Bhed using the console in the center, to recieve three more Al Bhed Primers. Leave the bridge via the staircase at the back, then proceed down the corridor, and on to the lift. Examine the terminal on the lift to access the command window, revealing three selectable levels of the ship. First, select the Engine Room. There are four treasure chests in this room, which will restock at the beginning of each chapter. Open these four treasure chests to obtain 3 Remedies, 4 Potions, 4 Phoenix Downs, and 1 Ether. Take the lift to the Cabin. Speak with Barkeep, the Hypello, and select Rest. Once Yuna awakens, head back towards the lift. Brother will come on to the intercom and inform all the Gullwings to report to the Bridge. Return to the Bridge. Speak with Buddy at the front of the Bridge and select Mt. Gagazet on the World Map. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ CC01 ] [ Mt. Gagazet ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Follow Rikku and Paine, then take a running jump at the ledge. Climb to the upper ledge, then continue forward. Rikku and Paine will make a long jump to the otherside. Have Yuna fall to the ledge below and open the treasure chest to obtain a Yellow Ring. Proceed to the left and grab the ledge above to pull yourself back up. Take a running jump off of the ledge to land on the other side. Continue down the stairs and follow the path until it comes to an end. Touch the Machina on the wall to reach the lower level. Jump off the lift to the ledge below. Continue jumping from ledge to ledge, until you reach the base of the waterfall. Continue to your left, and climb to the upper ledge to find a treasure chest containing an Elixir. Jumo back down to the lower ledge, cross the ravine, then climb your way back up to the ruined platform above. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Leblanc Level: 5 Logos, Ormi Level (L): 3 Level (O): 3 HP: 120 MP: 320 EXP: 20 AP: 2 HP (L): 100 MP (L): 25 EXP (L): 10 AP (L): 1 Gil: 250 Gil (P): 700 HP (O): 130 MP (O): 10 Steal: Tiara EXP (O): 10 AP (O): 1 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - At the beginning of the battle, - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - quickly have your Songstress use Gil (L): 80 Gil (L)(P): 280 Darkness Dance, which should then Gil (O): 80 Gil (O)(P): 280 lower the accuracy of all three opponents. Steal (O): Gauntlets Steal (L): White Cape If you have a thief you can steal - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - three accessories in this battle. You can steal a Tiara from Leblanc, a White Cape from Logos, and Gauntlets from Ormi. Now lets start attacking your opponents. Focus your attacks on Leblanc, as she currently has the most HP. She also has learned a new skill known as Sonic Fan, which can deal heavy damage to you and your allies. After defeating Leblanc, you'll easily be able to finish off Logos and Ormi. - - - [ Mission Time ] You will have approximately six minutes to reach the top of the Floating Ruins. Follow the platform to a dead end, where you'll find a treasure chest containing a Mega Phoenix. Return to the gap, drop down to the lower ledge, then climb back up on the other side. Circle around the perimiter, then proceed through the entryway to your right to enter the temple. Proceed down the corridor, then drop down into the first pit to locate a treasure chest containing a White Ring. Climb back out, then proceed north, jumping the ledges, and eventually coming to the next room. Continue through the corridor, until eventually you find yourself back outside the temple. Circle around the perimeter, defeat Ormi's Recoils and She-Goons, and climb onto the broken pillar from the bridge. Climb to the ledge above, then circle the permiter to an end, where you'll find a treasure chest containing a Star Pendant. Return back around the permiter to a fallen Pillar off to the right. Jump on to the pillar, then climb your way to the top. Locate the treasure chest near Leblanc and her Syndicates. If you managed to make it to the top of the Floaring Ruins in the alloted time, open the treasure chest to obtain a Muscle Belt. Take the stairway to the right to reach the top. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Boris Level: 8 HP: 480 MP: 0 EXP: 26 AP: 1 Gil: 300 Gil (P): 700 Steal: Remedy (2) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Have your Sonstress use Darkness Dance on Boris, while focusing the other two characters on using continuous attacks. Also use your Warrior's Power Break ability. If Boris manages to slip in a physical attack, it won't deal as much damage. Occassionally, Boris may swallow one of your players. Once this happens, have a Potion prepared, as a massive amount of damage will be dealt to that character after she is spit back out. Boris may also occassionally use an attack called Sticky End. Once Boris uses this attack, take a quick glance at your battle gague. If any of them have frozen on a gray color, immediately dismiss the status ailment with a Remedy. If you don't have any, have your Thief steal one from Boris. - - - After defeating Boris, enter into the central chamber to locate a sphere. Leave the chamber, and the Gullwings will return to the Celsius. [ Mission Complete ] Back aboard the Celsius, speak with Shinra and his command post to watch the Sphere you just obtained from Mt. Gagazet. Once finished with a sphere, Buddy will locate two more spheres. One in Besaid, the other in the Zanarkand Ruins. You can proceed to the Zanarkand Ruins before Besaid Island, however, doing so will take you to the final mission of Chapter One, in Kilika Port. Doing so, you will miss out on the many events of Chapter One, as well as a large amount of the Story Completion status. If you wish to attempt Zanarkand, before completing Besaid, please scroll down to the Zanarkand Ruins section of the FAQ / Walkthrough. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ DC01 ] [ Besaid Island ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Head down the Village Slope to enter Besaid Village. There, you will be reunited with your friends, Wakka and Lulu. After speaking with Wakka, enter the second tent on the right to find Lulu. After catching up on current events with Lulu, follow her back into the house. There, speak with her once more, and stay the night. Once you have awakened, leave the house once again to find Lulu standing near the entrance to the village. [ Mission Time ] Speak with a few of the Villagers in Besaid to learn about a mysterious cave, somewhere on Besaid Island. You'll first need to find the four Ciphers on Besaid Island. Speak to some of the villagers of Besaid, who will direct you to the whereabouts of these Four Ciphers. The first one can be found at the top of the Village Slope in Besaid Promontory. The second one can be found on the Ancient Road, to the right of the entrance, but before you hear the transmission from the Airship. The third one is located on the Beach, to the left of the entrance. The fourth one is located on the Beach, near the docks. Each of the four mechanical contrpations will be marked by a red square on the mini-map. Leave Besaid Village, then head up the village slope to the Promontory. Examine the first Cipher near the cliff's edge, then continue north, to the Ancient Road. Directly to the right of the entrance is a small ruined pillar. Climb to the top of the pillar and examine the second Cipher. Continue down the Ancient Road, to Waterfall Way. Head north, then jump off to the left side of the first waterfall, where you will find a treasure chest directly underneath the bridge containing two Chocobo Wings. Climb back up on to the path, then continue north, until eventually you find yourself on the Beach. From where you enter on the Beach, look to your left, to find a boy standing on the ledge of a small cliff. Climb to the top of the ruined structure to find your third Cipher. Climb back down to the bottom, and head south, where you'll find the final Cipher in the in the bushes, just past the docks. Return north, to the Crossroads, and search for a wooden door to the left. Examine the console to the left of the wooden door and input the four digit code as seen on the top of the screen. You will find Wakka inside. After speaking with Wakka, head down the corridor, then down the dead end path. once the path splits into three speperate directions. Open the treasure chest at the dead end path to obtain two Potions. Continue north, until eventually you find the Sphere. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Flame Dragon Level: 16 HP: 980 MP: 84 EXP: 60 AP: 1 Gil: 300 Gil (P): 800 Steal: Hi-Potion (2) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Though the Flame Dragon may look quite strong, it can actually be defeated quite easily. First, have your Warrior hit the Flame Dragon with Power Break. Most of the Flame Dragon's attacks are fairly weak, but it's still challenging. It will occassionally cast Flame Breath, which can deal massive damage to your allies. Have a White Mage ready to heal your wounded allies. If you find yourself outmatched, the Flame Dragon holds two Hi-Potions, which can be stolen by a Thief. Remember, Hi-Potions are still quite rare to come by this early in the game. Have a Songstress also cast Darkness Dance. The Flame Dragon will still be able to attack, but at least you have slightly lowered it's accuracy. - - - Return and speak with Wakka after you have obtained the Sphere. You'll eventually return to the Airship. [ Mission Complete ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ SQ01 ] [ Luca ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Completing Luca is optional, but it works towards your Story Completion status. It also shows you as to where Yuna was at the time of the concert. Proceed down the stairs to Luca Square, then speak to the man sitting next to the balloon stall to obtain ten balloons. Hand out ten of these balloons to all the people you see in Luca Square. 1) Give a balloon to the person standing next to the Balloon Stall. 2) Give a balloon to the person standing near the fountain. 3) Give a balloon to the person sitting on the bench next to the fountain. 4) Give a balloon to the person sitting on the bench directly next to where you handed out the third balloon. 5) Give a balloon to the person sitting on the bench directly across from where you handed out the third balloon. 6) Give a balloon to the person sitting next to the broadcast station. 7) Give a balloon to another person sitting next to the broadcast station. 8) Examine the window at the broadcast station. Give a balloon to one of the broadcasters. 9) Give a ballon to the other broadcaster in the broadcast station. 10) Give a balloon to the person standing just outside of the cafe entrance. After handing out all ten ballons, you will obtain the Healing Wind Garment Grid. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ SQ02 ] [ Mi'Ihen Highroad ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Though there isn't much to do as of yet on the Mi'Ihen Highroad, you can obtain some vulable items from the treasure chests, and a small amount of Story Completion, just for visiting the Mi'Ihen Highroad. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ EC01 ] [ Mushroom Rock Road ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - After arrivingn at Muchroom Rock, proceed north to meet up with Yaibal, of the Youth League, and Clasko. Follow Clasko deeper into Mushroom Rock. [ Mission Time ] Take the lift directly ahead of you to reach the upper level of the Ravine. Continue down the path until you confront Logos an Ormi. Follow them down to the lower level of the Ravine, through the underground corridors, until you come to a cave, next to the Save Sphere. Enter inside the cave, where the team will ambush Logos and Ormi. The two Syndicates will make a quick escape, leaving the Gullwings with a Crimson Sphere 9. Examine the door ahead, then head towards the exit, where you will meet up with Maroda. Exit out of the cave to return back to the Ravine. Return to the upper level of the Ravine and make your way north towards the lift. Ride the lift to the upper level to reach the Youth League. Speak with Elma to complete the mission. [ Mission Complete ] Continue to the southern ledge to find a treasure chest which contains a Favorite Outfit. Take the lift to the upper level to reach the Youth League Headquarters. Before proceeding towards the headquarters ahead, look for a narrow ledge to the right of the path, which will take you to a treasure chest containing a Restless Sleep Garment Grid. Head up to the headquarters ahead, where you will encounter Lucil, the commander of the Youth League forces. Speak with her again to continue the conversation, then find Maechan, a scholar from Final Fantasy X, who will reveal the history between New Yevon and the Youth League. Follow the Ravine back to Mushroom Rock, and locate Clasko standing near the right ledge, directly across from the Save Sphere. Allow Clasko to ride on your Airship, then return to the Celsius. Speak with Shinra, then select 'Treasure Spheres' and view the Crimson Report 1, which was the sphere you just found in the Ravine. Speak with Buddy and head for the Djose Temple. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ FC01 ] [ Djose Temple ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Locate the small office to the right. Wait for the lineup to clear, then proceed into the office. Speak with the receptionist, and let him know that you would like to dig. After recieving clearance, leave the office and proceed into the Djose Temple, where you will meet with Gippal. Follow Gippal out of the Djose Temple, then south, on to the bridge. There, speak with Gippal and let him know that you would like to dig in the Bikanel Desert. Follow the bridge south to the Djose Highroad, then north, to reach the Moonflow. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ SQ03 ] [ Moonflow ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Continue north, down the Moonflow path, and look for a Hypello standing off to the side. [ Mission Time ] After speaking with the Hypello, he'll ask you to assist him as he takes the Caravan further into the Moonflow. Basically, bandits will try to steal supplies from the Caravan, as it progresses further down the path. If a bandit comes anywhere near the Caravan, make sure that Yuna is in close range of the bandit, and press the X Button on your controller to engage in battle. Continue doing this until eventually the Caravan reaches the Moonflow. Tobli will give you a Gun Mage Dressphere, a Circlet, and a Helios Guard Garment Grid for your troubles. Continue west to reach the Moonflow's South Wharf. Once there, speak with the Hypello, who is standing near the Shoopuf, and ride it to the North Wharf. Leave the North Wharf, then continue north down the path to eventually reach Guadosalam. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ SQ04 ] [ Guadosalam ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Though there currently isn't much to do in Guadosalam, you will gain a small amount of Story Completion through attempting to enter the Farplane on the upper level. Once you are ready to leave Guadosalam, exit through the passage near the save sphere, which leads to the Thunder Plains. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ SQ05 ] [ Thunder Plains ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Thunder Plains, what was once an unstable region, has been stabalized by the Al Bhed. Look for a few treasure chest along the way to obtain some valuable items and accessories. After crossing through the Thunder Plains, you will reach the Macalania Woods. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ SQ06 ] [ Macalania Woods ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Follow Rikku and Paine deeper into the Macalania Woods, then continue up the shimmering path after the initial scene. Locate a Turbo-Ether down the left path in the second area, then continue north, until eventually you come to a four-way intersection. Proceed northeast, into the Spring, where you'll meet up with Tromell, a Guado you may recognize from Final Fantasy X. Speak with Tromell until he has nothing left to say. He will eventually give Yuna a Full Throttle Dressphere, as well as Unnering Path Garment Grid. Leave the Spring to return back to the four-way intersection, then head north to reach Lake Macalania. After the initial scene at the Agency, you'll see O'aka, briefly. Follow him back into the Macalania Woods to start your next mission. [ Mission Time ] Return down the shimmering path, where you will eventually find O'aka. Follow him back down to the entrance location of the Macalania Woods. Follow O'aka down the east path. Continue north, past two guards of Bevelle, then north again at the four-way intersection. Once there, you will meet up with O'aka. [ Mission Complete ] O'aka will now ask you if he can remain on the Airship Celsius for the time being. If you accept, you will recieve the Ice Queen Garment Grid. Unfortunately, you will also have to help O'aka, by paying off his 100, 000 Gil debt. Return to the Celsius after speaking with O'aka. If you agreed with letting O'aka board the Celsius, you will find him in the lower level of the Cabin. Speak with Buddy when you are ready to depart, and select Bikanel Desert from the World Map. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ GC01 ] [ Bikanel Desert ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Once on Bikanel Island, follow Rikku through the Dunes. If Rikku starts wandering too far ahead, she will wait for you to catch up. Eventually, the Gullwings will find themselves lost, and collapse amongst the sands. The Gullwings will soon awaken at the Excavation Site. Speak with each person in the vicinity, and Nhadala should eventually arrive. Locate her walking back and forth too the far right of the excavation site. [ Mission Time ] After speaking with Nhadala, you'll be asked to speak to the Pilot, locate him directly to the left of your current location. Select the 'Western Expanse' to start excavating. Read the on-screen instructions to learn some helpful hints that will help you while excavating. Each buried treasure will be displayed as an X on your mini-map. Dig up as many items as possible within the time limit, then quickly return to the Hover. Any more must be purchased. 10 Gil will earn you 1 Credit. If you would like to take part in another mission, look for man wearing a purple jacket at the Travel Agency. Agree when he asks if you would like to be hitched. Shortly after he will ask you to look for some woman around Spira. Agree to this, and the mission will begin. Though this isn't any regular mission, travel around Spira looking for various women. Once you encounter one, approach her and press the Square Button. Shortly after the opening scene, the mission will begin. [ Mission Time ] You won't be able to move further into Zanarkand until you have spoken with Isaaru. You'll find him at the top of the hill. Once Isaaru has left, follow the path the the Dome entrance. Once inside, follow Pacce, Hana and Taro through the Dome, until eventually, they encounter Lady Yuna. After which, the two Sphere Hunting parties will go their seperate ways. Head up the ramp, then continue down the path, and into the next area. Proceed down the corridor, up the stairs, and into the Cloister of Trials. Proceed to the larger chamber through the entrance on your left, then locate the lift in the center of the room and ride it down to the lower level. Once there, locate Cid in the smaller chamber. Eventually he's going to ask you if you, "What, you got a bone to pick?". Either selection you make will not affect your present outcome, but it will affect future events on the Thunder Plains in a later chapter. Proceed towards the wall ahead to enter the Great Hall. Open the five treasure chests in this room, then proceed up the stairs. Follow Rikku and Paine on to the platform. Once there, you'll hear Isaaru, who will eventually ask you to tell him the meaning of life, followed by a selection of five choices. Most of them can be pretty humorous, but you can obtain a Heart Reborn Garment Grid for selecting, "Is that you, Isaaru?". Continue down the stairs on the other side, and proceed through the corridor. You will eventually come to what seems to be a broken sphere. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Guardian Beast Level: 18 HP: 2886 MP: 1000 EXP: 170 AP: 1 Gil: 200 Gil (P): 1500 Steal: Defense Veil - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Guardian Beast has quite a few heavy attacks, so it may be neccessary to first hit it with Power Break and Armor Break. The Guardian Beast is also quite weak against nearly any type of elemental damage. If you have a Black Mage, cast the strongest black magic ability that character currently has. Otherwise, the best strategy to follow is to have a White Mage out on the field, continuously casting Pray, while having your other two characters as Warriors, to continuously attack the Guardian Beat. Also, if you have a Songstress, cast Darkness Dance on the Guardian Beast, to lower it's accuracy. Eventually, when it runs low on HP, it will cast the Guardian Beast will cast it's strongest attack known as Democles Photon, which can deal a massive amount of damage to all three of your allies. Have your White Mage ready to heal anyone who's low on HP. - - - After obtaining the Sphere, the Gullwings will return to the Celsius, to recieve incoming data on an Awesome Sphere from the Kilika Temple. The Gullwings will immediately go down to investigate. [ Kilika ] Make your way down the docks, using your mini-map to guide you towards the Kilika Woods. [ Mission Time ] After being debriefed by Nooj, proceed onward, into the forest. Turn west at the intersection, the north, at the first side path. Continue past the first intersection, travel around the bend, then continue north at the next intersection. - - - "You hear voices through the trees. Want to hear what's going on?" Just a little peek. I'm not interested. - - - Watch the brief, but important conversation, as you will need this information as you progress further towards the temple. Return south to the intersection, then east, and finally north to reach the Kilika Temple. As a final test you must present the password at each checkpoint, while proceeding up the flight of stairs. Watch closely at the number of guards you see in front of Yuna. If the number of the total amount of guards at the checkpoint is odd, select "Carved Monkey". If the number of the total amount of guards at the checkpoint is even, select "Craven Monkey". Depending whether you sided with the Youth League or New Yevon, you will be greeted by Dona upon returning to Kilika Island. You won't be able to move freely throughout Kilika, as the complications between New Yevon and the Youth League are still in effect. From the Save Sphere, hop into the canoe, then jump up on to the dock on the other side to find a treasure chest containing a Turbo Ether. Return to the Celsius once you're ready. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ SQ12 ] [ Luca ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Another short visit in Luca will gain you a small amount of Story Completion. Upon arriving, proceed across the upper bridge to your right, then down the stairs. Upon arriving in the Luca Square, you will be greeted by Shelida, a former Nun from Final Fantasy X. After the interview, Shelinda will give Yuna a Covetous Garment Grid. Shelinda will then give Yuna a little backstory as to how she became a news anchor. Once you are ready, return to the Save Sphere, and board the Airship. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ SQ13 ] [ Mi'Ihen Highroad ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - You can gain a large amount of Story Completion for visiting the Mi'Ihen Highroad. Upon arriving at the Mi'Ihen Highroad, proceed into the Agency. Shortly after, follow Calli out of the Agency, and on to the hillside. [ Mission Time ] Shortly after speaking with Calli, the group will spot a Chocobo. Head down the hillside, then south, on to the Mi'Ihen Highroad. Follow Rikku as she instructs the group which way to go. You may also notice quite a few Chocobo Feathers on the ground. Pick up as many Chocobo Feathers as you can along the way, without losing site of the Chocobo. Occassionally, Rikku might point down a side path. Usually it's better not to listen to her, as most of the paths will just lead to treasure chests containing Chocobo Feathers. Once in the next area, Rikku and Paine will corner the Chocobo by blocking off the exits. This leaves Yuna the challenge of catching the Chocobo. After successfully cornering the Chocobo, wait at your current position until the Chocobo tries to make a clean escape. The Chocobo will then rush left, rush center, or rush right. Stop it's escape by quickly pressing the directional button in the direction the Chocobo is headed to block it's path. You can usually tell which direction the Chocobo is going to attempt by closely watching the direction of it's head. After the Chocobo has fled, follow Rikku into the next area. Eventually, Rikku and Paine will wander off into the distance. They can easily be located by looking for a white arrow on your mini-map. The Chocobo will then make another quick escape. Continue south towards Luca, and locate a Hover Pilot standing to the left side of the path. Upon asking for his assistance in catching the Chocobo, the Gullwings will corner it, leaving the Hover Pilot to catch the Chocobo. After finally catching the Chocobo, you'll recieve notice that Calli is in trouble. Head north from the Agency, and the Gullwings will eventually encounter the Chocobo Eater. Clasko will temporarily hold off the Chocobo Eater, giving the Gullwings less than three minutes to save Calli. Use the red arrow on your mini-map to guide Yuna down the Highroad. Upon arriving at Calli's rescue, the Gullwings will be forced into a fight against the Chocobo Eater. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Chocobo Eater Level: 11 HP: 2350 MP: 230 EXP: 350 AP: 1 Gil: 500 Gil (P): 2000 Steal: X-Potion (2) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Chocobo Eater has great physical strength, so have a Warrior use Power Break once the battle begins. Once there, look for a Ronso standing by the stairs, next to the cave entrance. [ Answers ] [ Trust ] Searching for mountain's secrets. 0 Take better care of the mountain. +1 That's the way things are now. -1 - - - Head south from Fayth Scar, and the Gullwings will eventually encounter a Fem-Goon. [ Mission Time ] Follow the Fem-Goon to a cave on the upper ledge. Proceed through the cave, and exit to reach the other side of Fayth Scar. From here, you can either continue climbing Fayth Scar for some extra Story Completion points, or follow the Fem-Goon into the mountain cave to reach the Spring. In either case, the scenario remains relatively the same. Continue climbing the mountain to the upper ledge. Enter the mountain cave to the left and locate a treasure chest containing a Phoenix Down on the ledge above. Leave the mountain cave and continue along the ledge. Climb the set of ledges to your left. The Gullwings will eventually encounter a heavy wind storm, stopping them from progressing any further up Fayth Scar. Locate a ledge overlooking the Spring from high above. You'll find this lookout only a few ledges below. The ledge will eventually crumble, and the Gullwings will fall to the Spring below. Eventually, the Gullwings will leave the Spring. Leave the mountain cave and start descending Fayth Scar. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ormi Level: 18 HP: 1350 MP: 22 EXP: 180 AP: 1 Gil: 200 Gil (P): 520 Steal: X-Potion, Elixir - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ormi's battle tactics remain relatively the same. Have your Songstress repeatedly cast Darkness Dance on Ormi to lower his Accuracy throughout the battle. Ormi still deals a large amount of physical damage, so keep a White Mage on the field at all times to heal those low on health. Eventually, Ormi will retreat. - - - [ Mission Complete ] Speak with Buddy on the Airship Celsius to activate the World Map. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ SQ21 ] [ Zanarkand Ruins ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - You can gain a small amount of Story Completion for visiting the Zanarkand Ruins. Once you have arrived in Zanarkand, proceed to the Dome. Continue down the Corridor, where you will eventually encounter Isaaru, standing by the flight of stairs. Before attempting this Side-Quest, it'd be a good idea to store your Gil in a safe place. - - - Look for the monkey, somewhere in the Zanarkand Ruins, who has a heart above it's head. Pick up this monkey, then search throughout the Zanarkand Ruins, pressing the X Button when you come in contact with another monkey. After finding a compatible monkey, they will instantly fall in love. Search the Zanarkand Ruins for all of the twelve monkeys, and their soul mates. Upon completing this Side-Quest, Yuna will obtain the Soul of Thamasa. Equip the Soul of Thamasa to a Mage for the best results. Return to the Airship Celsius and speak to Buddy to activate the World Map - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ GC02 ] [ Bikanel Desert ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Speak to Nhadala upon arriving at the Bikanel Desert. Return to the Pilot and head for the Oasis [ Mission Time ] Obtain the Sphere at the Oasis, containing Rikku's Special Dressphere, the Machina Maw. Upon obtaining this dressphere, the Gullwings will encounter Logos. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Logos Level: 18 HP: 1220 MP: 46 EXP: 160 AP: 1 Gil: 200 Gil (P): 460 Steal: Mega-Potion, Elixir - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Have your Songstress cast Samba of Silence on the two Fem-Goons. If this happens, simply dismiss the status ailment with a Remedy. - - - [ Mission Complete ] After defeating Logos, the Gullwings will have their final Syndicate Uniform, and obtain the Hour of Need Garment Grid. Speak with Buddy on the Airship Celsius to activate the World Map. [ Mission Complete ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ HC02 ] [ Guadosalam ] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Now that the Gullwings have three Syndicate Uniforms, proceed to the Chateau Leblanc entrance. The Gullwings will automatically change into their Syndicate Uniforms. [ Mission Time ] Proceed into the Living Room, through the door on the right side of the lower level. Speak with Logos and Ormi, then return the Foyer. Proceed up the stairs, and enter Leblanc's Private Quarters. Once inside, speak with Leblanc. - - - Rotate the Analog Stick to move the Heart Shaped icon to the position to give Leblanc the Massage. You will have fifteen attempts to reach Leblanc's satisfaction of 32 Points. If you succeed in reaching Leblanc's Satisfaction, you can obtain Gold Hairpin from Ormi's bedroom. If you fail to reach Leblanc's Satisfaction, you will only recieve a Heady Perfume from Ormi's bedroom. - - - Return to the Foyer and enter the Living Room. Locate the hidden switch behind a wall panel, next to the door on the left. Otherwise, defeat them as soon as possible. Ormi possesses a new skill in this encounter known as Huggles, which will inflict several amounts of damage to one character. Quickly revive, or restore the character's lost hit points. After defeating Ormi, he will make a quick escape to inform Logos and Leblanc. - - - Proceed down the corridor, past the Save Sphere, and through the large purple doors to enter Ormi's Room. Once inside, you'll find the treasure chest containing either a Heady Perfume, or a Gold Hairpin. Leave Ormi's Room, then proceed down the corridor to the right. Immediately have your Songstress cast Darkness Dance on Logos and Ormi to lower their accuracy. Also, if Yuna, Rikku or Paine has learned Arcana by now, cast Bio on the two Syndicates. Sleep can also be effective, if you find the two Syndicates are becoming to be a challenge. Have a White Mage out on the field at all times. Logos has learned a new ability known as Russian Roulette, the physical damage is quite weak, but it may also inflict certain status ailments on the Gullwings. Remember to revive, or heal any of your allies when Ormi uses Huggles. With Bio casted, cast Sleep on one of the two Syndicated. Bio will slowly weaken the Syndicate who has been put to sleep. Focus the rest of your attacks on the other Syndicate. - - - Leave Logos's Room, then continue down the north corridor. Turn left at the intersection. Climb up on to the upper ledge, then drop down into the pit below. Activate the Security Override switch, then climb up on to the upper ledge to the left. Drop down into the next pit, then activate the second Security Override switch. Climb up on to the upper ledge to the left. Proceed to the end of the corridor, until the hidden wall reveals another trap. Let the trap approach Yuna. The Gullwings will then make a safe escape to the upper platform. Locate the third Security Override switch on the right wall. Upon activating the final Security Override, return down to the end of the same corridor and activate the Security Door Manual Override to open the door. Proceed down the hidden corridor that just became available. Logos and Ormi will basically use the same moves and techniques as when you previously fought them. They will unforunately be immune to Sleep and Bio.
